What industry and location?

like

Remote in the US, HQ is in Boston so we typically use that as a baseline. We’re a healthcare startup with solid funding.

How many direct reports? How many YOE? If a manager level though I would say 150k (I’m in Boston too)

I have 5 YOE in financial services and 1 YOE in consulting.

Wanted to gather any information on what to target as an offer? Should I be targeting 130k base? EY

This gets asked a lot, but could y’all give salary ranges for each rank (senior, manager, SM etc) in HCOL for Technology. I really have no good idea of the salary growth.

I am interviewing for an in-house tech co product counsel role and before they proceed with the next rounds they want to know if I'm fine with the comp. The base is $175+10-15% bonus (pre-ipo unicorn) +esop. The funny part is they are not willing to disclose the esop component so I don't know what the TC would look like to make an informed decision. What is a good way to nicely ask them about the equity part without messing up my chances.

I'm in the last stage of the screening process for an Amazon AWS security engineer position. Due to the recent hiring freeze, I was given two options: - go through the last screening (5x1 hour interviews) and, if accepted, wait for a position to open. If not accepted I have to wait 1 to 2 years to apply again, as usual. - OR don't go through the screening and having to go through another screening process. Advices on what to do are welcome. Right now I'm more prone to go through the interview.

I was offered a promotion but due to internal policies the max comp they could offer was way under market value. I countered and was denied. I took time to think about it, being disappointed I applied for other jobs. Monday came and I decided to accept the offer.
