Hello folks,
I have an offer for Data Scientist from Innopleux consulting (pharma domain, www.innoplexus.com/).
Can anyone comment on the work culture, projects, tech stack, growth opportunities and overall environment and health of the company? I have read a bunch of mix reviews on glassdoor and ambitionbox. Difficult to separate authentic from cooked up reviews. Any help would be highly appreciated.

Can I get some likes so I can DM? Thanks!
Sheraton in milpitas anyone?
I literally had a manager tell me to not eat so healthy in front of the client (when I was trying to lose weight) because it may seem like I thought I was a better person ๐๐๐ LOL
My second week on a new project, someone pulled me aside and told me that A) I was โtoo niceโ and โtheyโre going to walk all over you,โ and that B) I needed to stop saying the word โawesome.โ
Iโm still nice and say โawesomeโ a few years later, but it hasnโt gotten me very far... so maybe it was good advice, after all ๐ค
Only feedback I got on a project once was โyouโre too empatheticโ
Partner told me to grow a beard because my client thought I was green.
โThere are so many opportunities at IBM. Lateral moves will be no issue."
My old manager told me not to quit my federal sector consulting job and move to SF to pursue tech consulting at a boutique b/c Iโd soon realize how much harder my life would be and Iโd grow to hate it. Also โthe Bay Area is overrun by immigrants and crimeโ... that last statement was enough to confirm I was hearing terrible advice
5 years later Iโve done some incredibly fulfilling work with some awesome clients and have exit ops I only would have dreamt of back then. Also, SF is a great place to live.
The height thing was tongue in cheek (studies have shown taller people are more successful, controlling for other factors)
The funniest advice i was given as a staff (and it was delivered to a mixed group of junior folks) was, โif i were you, Iโd get subscriptions to Wine Spectator and The Economist, and buy some Cole-Haans" ...
The height was not tongue in cheek - he told a whole story about Tom Cruise and lifts hahah

I was told to develop a poker face. All that did was really let people know that some serious shit was going on behind that mask of mine.
Pwc1, heard the same thing, but was told I didnโt have enough gray hair to be credible
Had a client VP tell me to leave consulting and join him because nobody stays there forever as his team was failing and working 7 days a week.
I was once told to work for someone of a similar racial background as myself...
@M4 - I hear you. Thereโs nothing better than being your real, actual self at work. The same clients, meetings, issues, etc can move from draining and miserable to enjoyable and engaging if you learn how to not have a different โworkโ self.
Avoid saying awesome seriously
Thank u 4 your service ๐ค
