Amazon Does receiving an offer from one team/dept make you more attractive to another?
Completed final loop for Team A and received initial offer (L6). Final loop for Team B is soon.
Prior to my interview, Team A’s recruiter mentioned that Team B would somehow have access to my interview feedback from Team A.

I suggest giving very direct feedback. Sit her down and say plainly "When you called me the other day about that deliverable, it was frustrating to me as a manager, and here's why ________. I'm letting you know this, because I want you to do well here, and I thought you should know that this is how our culture is, and it may not be well received by other people in the firm if you do that in the future. Does that make sense? What are your thoughts about this feedback?"
Glad you are introspective enough to see that. Remember that one day those "junior" people may have to have your back one day! Develop talent and help them shine. You'll rise with them. It's all a firm has to sell. Lose the hierarchical mentality and think about someone besides yourself and I think you'll be surprised at the result on both ends.
Had you been waiting for something from the intern, you would probably had done the same thing. I feel bad for that intern having to work for you.
See that manager? I don't call you names and you call me a fucktard. You are one of those people who like to pull rank and respect because of your title. You don't deserve it. You are a clog blocking productivity. Look in the mirror at your ineptitude.
Lots of age. Very little wisdom. Ugly as hell.
While I get your frustration... Interns are the ultimate newbies. Have a little understanding as they try to figure out what your expectations are of them. We were all there once.
Sorry manager your post doesn't make good sense. And stop using two '!!'. I hate managers who write poorly.
OP you are just a piece of shit. I can assure you that the people who had to teach you hated your guts as well. Fuck off now and be a decent human being
Lol C1 laying down the reverse hammer 🔨
Go into the office tomorrow and give him a pat on the back for mastering the section on managing upwards. Everyone needs to be managed even in the reverse pecking order or however your holier than though ranking system is in your head.
One of those rare Ocassions my LOL is true laughing our loud (alone, in this hotel room) at the above C1.
Who the ef uses fucktard anymore 😂 picturing my weirdo managers of the past.
OP give your intern a break geez. It's an internship for godsake why are you making their life miserable.
OP seems irrationally angry, probably because he/she can't get his/her shit done on time. What you should have done is a) had your shit done on time or at least b) told your intern to go home and you would take care of integrating the rest since you're the hold up. Instead you sound like a rude, entitled POS with no business managing other people. There is nothing wrong with the intern calling you at 6:30pm to follow up on your deliverable - it means she's on top of it. I hope that intern starts interviewing elsewhere so she never has to work with you again.
Collecting status reports is bad enough as-is. Dealing with your attitude seems unbearable. I'm just glad my first PMO manager gave me advice/permission to stick a huge "DID NOT RECEIVE" on reports from slackers.
Lol I hated your kind when I was on some awful PMO gig compiling status reports. Sometimes I'd have to wait until like 830pm before I got all of 'em. Sigh.
Ooh. Talking out of my ass. Accenture has an interesting manager. I mean mis-manager. Your team hates you and you know you are not good at your job. Your communication skills are beyond poor and that lit like a fire when I pointed out.
I pity people who report to you and feel their pain. Hope you get laid off. I have solidarity for others who are good and got axed. People like you should get axed regardless of your numbers.
Bye Pooja!
Plot twist, intern has FB and just read all this.. 👋🏼
Here's another thought entirely: why was OP bitching (and responding to comments) on FB when he/ she could have just been finishing the deliverable? 🤔 Amateur hour.
"Pecking order" really? This isn't a barn yard. Also have an ounce of respect for your intern. You sound like a little weasely fucker. A good leader works by empowering others and understanding is a component of that. Also, look to yourself instead of blaming others.
OP: 0, World: 1. Go home OP.
Dude calm down they're all trying hard, and they're eager
New manager syndrome
I can't believe someone calling someone at 6:30pm is generating so much discussion. It's not like they called 10 times and were pleading to go home, they just wanted to know what's up and when they can expect stuff so they can plan their evening. When do you want your intern to call you? 11pm? Intern 1 Manager 0.
Bye pooja x2 XD
