This may or may not work for you, but I usually tend to just go for a walk beforehand and treat the interview as if I’m meeting with a project lead trying to onboard onto a project. This might just be a personal thing, but I tend to be much more relaxed (yet still attentive) with the preconceived notion of “I already got this, this is a just another stepping stone”. There is a fine line there between being overly cocky and being confident in your own abilities (learned that the hard way), but that’s what helps me! I also like to play some music beforehand and pretend like I’m the absolute man before the interview itself😎

I felt super nervous about my MBB interview until I got into it and realized most people I’m talking to are overachieving nerds just like me. You’ll find the same thing

I was riffing on SC1’s comment.

How much time are you spending reflecting on the job, the type of work you’d be doing, and some examples you could bring to bear to demonstrate you already know the work? I found that when I prepped more (not the interviewing prompts) around what the job would be like and insights I could bring, it helped me see that I am competent and have a relevant POV to share. Also, it’s because you care. Sometimes you have to approach it as this is not your target role, but it is your target company, just to put psychological space in.

With phone/video interviews, I have found it to really help to stand during the interview so I can fidget with my feet and hands out of the camera view. Granted, I have a standing desk. But you could always make one by stacking boxes.

Hey fishes I know it's kinda depressing but that's what I am into so it's been months now with Amazon and I've working in a new role learning great stuff but here's the catch I don't have anyone to contact with like people here don't reply if you ask for help and if you even call out like they defend by saying they're busy . Forget favors they don't reply to "hey". I have total 2 yrs of exp so barely saw work culture at office. But I wanna ask is this normal or I'm overthinking.
