Interview skills for Product Design interviews is very different from skills and mindset required to work in Product Design.

My personal experience in interviewing made me understand that I lacked a lot of things to excel in Interviews although I consider myself good in my work.

If I had to do it again, I will keep interviewing and keep improving portfolio and case studies. Although I will choose companies where I do not want to go first to practice.

Anyone working in HCL technologies as a DevOps Engineer ? Just wanted to confirm whether it's a normal process of conducting client interviews until someone is officially tagged to the project .

I have recently joined HCL technologies and they said I was hired for a client before joining and after joining they are repeatedly conducting interviews with the same client .

Is this a normal process that they follow ?

Just got an update from recruiter that they want to have 2 additional interviews for technical judgement. She mentioned that my onsite interview (pgm, big data and analytics) feedback was great and these new interviews are to push my case to TPM roles as well, is this common ?
Also, is it recruiter's best interest to get the candidate a good offer or they will try to lowball always? She mentioned I am being considered for L4 (total 14+ yrs of exp) and the comp numbers are not great!

Is it okay to apply at new roles at Google while I am interviewing for a role? I had my 30 min HM call recently and I am not convinced that they will move forward with me. Suggestions?

How do people network naturally? I’ve applied for numerous software engineering intern positions, but I have yet to move past applying. I know networking is key, but I just feel awkward and in a way “dirty”… like I don’t want to feel too pushy or impede on people’s time to get into tech. I went for 3 interviews with a company met with vp and was given package thinking I aced interview there was another candidate 😞 the other person for the job. The VP calls me to tell me I didn’t get position however he wants me to re apply in new year that something else will be open, and that he wanted to keep a copy of my resume what does this mean ? I gave one round of technical interview with HCL and submitted supporting documents to HR and iboard with CCTC : 10 lakh, ECTC : 20 lakh.
While i was waiting for a call from HR for salary negotiation, The offer letter has been released for 15 lakh CTC without a discussion on salary. Please advice if there a stipulated timeline to accept the offer letter within ? Do they call for negotiation if I don't accept the offer ?

I need some legit feedback on what is it like to be a UXD at companies like Accenture?
They claim to do a lot of research oriented designs, as everyone. But is that really the case or it's like some other service based companies where the UX is almost vague, and happens mostly based on what the managers think to be good?

It was my first project that I handled individually. I got another project it also went well.
