Interview tips wanted!

This time around… not on how to get a job but on how to HIRE!

I’m currently looking for a Social Media and Community Specialist and definitely need a few tips on how to weed out the bs from the good ones! Any tips? I need a few questions ideas that will help us gauge whether they’re actually reliable, I feel with marketing especially, it’s easy to bs your way through many questions and I need a hard hitter!

I am a Special Counsel- Commercial Litigation looking to move in-house. I have applied to positions and had some interviews but no offers any recommendations on good recruiters who can assist?

Just a warning about all those postings for open roles at VMLY&R. They just laid a bunch of people off. Not sure why they're trying to hire, but I'd think twice before applying. Things aren't good here...

How do find a recruiter in the legal field? Have been looking for a job for a year now and trying to transition into another practice area. Applied to more than 20 jobs and still no offers. I feel like I might need some help.
Also, I have no idea how these arrangements work. Do you pay the recruiter to look for the jobs or do you pay them when you get the job? Or does the employer pay them?

As everyone experienced that OFSS Oracle financial services takes long time to generate offer after selection, is it guaranteed that they give offer letter? I have been selected and verbal offer is given but BGV is yet to start and I do not see offer letter coming soon..

So I had 2 technical interviews with HCL which I was shortlisted and I got a call to have a client prep session but I have not gotten any offer from HCL. I just want to know if this is normal

I have given interview in LTI on 20th August which was pull campus so L1,L2 and HR all three rounds over on same day and I was told in HR round only that you are Final Selected. I got documents submission mil on 22nd August and I submitted it, But till now(2nd September) I have not got any mail for offer letter. How much time it will still? Can anyone help me on this?

How important is having a job title that specifies a focus in employment law in the context of salary and future job prospects? This is opposed to something general such as attorney or council. If I'm looking for a position in employment law with a general title on my resume, will perspective employers rule me out because of it?
