Currently interviewing for McKinsey Implementation. Any insight into type of work MI practitioners are responsible for on cases?
Can't decide if it's best to move to a less stressful job or not. Some days I love it, and am up for early promotion, other days I'm inconsolably sad and can't think of anything but applying elsewhere

When do my licenses transfer to my new firm? Start date or after I sign the offer? Still interviewing before the start date...
Anyone interviewed for Blackstone PE or alternative roles? How hard is the interview process?
MBB people who successfully recruited out of undergrad: how many months before the interview did you prep? How many hours per week? Cases per week (given by someone or done by yourself)? Thanks you!
Going on all these interviews and constantly getting asked why I want to leave the firm. Wouldn't a better question be why should I stay? ✋🏻#baifelicia
Need input from OW folks or a recent applicant. Applying as experienced hire with 5+ years of experience. Cover letter or no cover letter?
In NYC, Gett far superior to any other app based car service. Anyone NOT using it for Manhattan moves is crazy...Worst part is I had an interview offer through a recruiter 2 years ago and denied it 😓
Thoughts on asking a client (mid-upper level VP at a bank) for a letter of rec for bshool? Think he would write very good things, had a direct working relationship for 6 months - applying next fall
Industry interview question: what is the angle (in degrees) between the hour and minute hands at 3:15?
Haven't done this interview stuff in a while. Interviewing with Deloitte onsite soon, should you wear a suit during interview? Charcoal grey + white shirt + tie work?

How much do the recruiters make within the firm? I love helping out in recruiting and interviewing and have gotten really good feedback on my personality with possible new hires.
How much does undergrad prestige matter after starting full time? Went to a Big Ten school and not sure if this will ding me moving forward if I try to interview other places.
I just joined a HF from a technical background and I’ll be sitting with the special situations team helping them optimize their investing process. I realize there’s no way I’m going to pass as a seasoned investor, but what can I do to beef up so I don’t totally embarrass myself? I would rate myself as just slightly above a novice on the knowledge scale (took accounting 101, read 5 or so investing books, and did all the interest theory and advanced probability courses for my math degree)
So my wife basically said she doesn’t want to have sex anymore. Don’t want to do anything about it. After couple kids, doesn’t feel it anymore. Also said it wasn’t anything I did and there’s no one else. I understand women’s body changes after child birth but can’t help thinking it’s gonna suck being in a sexless marriage. We’re still attractive and haven’t turned into couch potatoes…yet Happy Thanksgiving!
The longer I do this job, the more I keep thinking about getting back into the family business. Would have to work on my feet, on weekends and most holidays, but it would be more rewarding.

I’m interested in working for SailPoint. Anyone have any recruiters/contacts they can put me into contact with? Sales engineering
Has anyone obtained the SHRM Talent Acquisition Specialty Credentialing? if so, did you find the class and credential worthwhile? Could you share where you found value added to your role as a recruiter?
Ladies, how many of your men have issues with your purchases? My man thinks I buy to much even if it's for the house. I personally like living like an adult with matching spoons, nice bedsets, table place settings, decorative cushions etc. I don't think this is to much to ask for. Finances are not the problem. He'll be sleeping in the other bedroom on mismatched sheets like a bachelor, until he learns to leave me alone about it. Lol.
What’s the dumbest / most trivial correction a senior lawyer made to a document? For me, it was a senior associate who told me to change the font on a watermark to match the text.
Consultants should get paid more for first sacrificing their Sunday night sleep, all the anxiety and then crazy airport drama every Monday morning. #justsaying #yawn
Hey brothers and sisters, what’s the Best fitness SPG Hotel in Manhattan? Looking for free weights, bench press / smith machine, dumbbell with 60–8 lbs etc.. Thanks a lot!
All, I’m trying to figure out if I’m being underpaid. I’ve been at my company for close to 11 years! I don’t like coming off as greedy. I manage all the internal recruiting (they currently have me filling 30-40 jobs by myself), I also do all the training for new employees and current employees, I manage all of our software and tools that the team uses, I also am I’m charge of quality to ensure the team is following our company’s processes, I also do IT support. I’m currently at $100k. Thoughts?
ACN UK: Any top tips for A2 alignment from Consulting -> Functional Strategy? 100% of past projects have been in the group I want to move into, but what else should I do?
Just got on the bench and I’m really considering trying to transfer to AFS. I have a puppy and my last role was remote so it was easy to be with him but I don’t want to get on a traveling project...
I fantasize non-stop about quitting my job and spending my time doing what I want: - Cooking and baking + forming a healthy relationship with food - Running, spinning and hiking + finally lose the weight that has held be back emotionally for so many years - Trying new hobbies: learn a language, an instrument, finally have time to really read and understand topics of interest (e.g. psychology) - Find companionship via a dog and or get out there and meet new people
