I would go for it. If they haven’t landed you an interview then you don’t owe them anything.
If it gets you the job, it may be worth it. But just know that recruiter will never work with you again, OP.
Doesn’t sound like the recruiter can get them their day rate so.... 🤷🏾♀️
The agency should know better and won’t burn the recruiter like that, and if they would, that’s not really the kind of place you want to be working anyways. If you do go for it, good luck getting your paycheck.
But it seems like the recruiter never connected OP to the agency (Correct me if I’m wrong OP). The agency probably doesn’t even know who OP is.
If this is the case, what’s wrong with OP directly contacting the agency?
Hmm this one could be sticky... Normally, it’s frowned upon to apply directly with that company. But, if all you had was a casual conversation with the recruiter (no signed paperwork), you’re probably fine, IMO.
