Go for money - it’s hard to ignore that much of a pay increase . Not a great brand for exit
I would not. I did a similar thing (went to terrible firm for huge increase). Felt as if I destroyed my career. Luckily I found an exit that I had old connections to.
Second this
I'd recommend staying away from the WITCH companies. But with money like that, you are likely already severly underpaid since it's not like Cognizant pays amazingly well either. So take it. Focus on your brand, your skillset and jumping ship for greener pastures in 2 years. Just don't become a lifer.
Why are they so bad?
Thank you all
Currently working on an engagement where Cognizant is also playing a role - very unimpressed with their people so far
Just made the jump for same team. What mattered to me is the money, but who knows what the exit opportunities could be. Leave where you are in good terms make some dough and go back. The rebound is necessary for the big 4. That being said there is a potential for growth but you gotta be a part of building it.
