Whole lot of grandparents seem to die during busy season

Dr appointments. No one’s really allowed to ask details about your health problems

Yes, still true. Vaccine status has always been asked about by schools and employers so nothing new there. But why you have to see a specialist for health reasons is private.

I literally just say I have an appointment. Keep it super vague

Don’t you work remote? Block your calendar and pretend your in a meeting

The interviews are in person, so I’m not able to keep my laptop on

Vet appointment if you have a dog

Are you not WFH? If it’s just an interview people can think you’re on a call

They can fire me then 🤷🏻‍♀️

I started working with a recruiter to get out of the hellhole that is my current position. I’ve been there two years. I went through 3 rounds of interviews for an amazing non-litigation role. I saw the light at the end of the tunnel but then didn’t get the job. I can’t bring myself to job search again because that job seemed like the dream and i don’t want to go through the process for nothing again

I’ve applied for over 100 relevant jobs in the last year that have all ended in rejection. I’ve had several interviews, as many as seven conversations plus strategy assignments for some roles. I’m not asking for more money than they are willing to pay for my level of experience; I’m asking recruiters to provide the salary range first and agreeing to it. I’ve worked my network, gotten referrals & spent a lot of money on a career coach. So I’m feeling pretty sad and defeated. Any words of advice?

Those who are or have been AUSAs, what sort of letters of recommendation make the most impact on an application (outside of a former AUSA/judge etc..)? Desperately trying to find a job where I can be paid what I'm worth. I honestly feel as though college was a waste given the fact that I am only making $55k/year and I have 10 years of experience in Finance/Accounting. I feel like I can't catch a break or get my foot in the door. Every job seems like it's going to be a great stepping stone but it hasn't gotten me anywhere. At this point I want to be able to provide for my family and not want to kill myself when at work (remote preferably). Help!
