Interviewing for a job…when my medication kicks in, it seems like a great role and pivot for my career.

When my meds wear off, I’m not too sure and think it might not be a good fit.

Which version of “me” is right?

Have you-on-meds write down thoughts on why you love the idea of the job. Then, later, have not-on-meds-you do the same. Have each of you read what the other wrote, and write down your response. Help yourself have a conversation internally about it.

SA1 I have really embraced the “If it’s stupid and it works, it’s not stupid” mentality.

Ooof this hit me. Except I already took the job. When I’m on my meds everything seems fine and handle-able and I feel in the right place. When I’m off, I have panic attacks thinking I don’t belong here at all. And I still don’t know the answer.

What are your thoughts? This mock presentation was 45 minutes where I was encouraged to get creative in lead gen techniques and build an effective sales process.

After 2 days I was told the team was reevaluating the position need and they wouldn't be hiring. (See more below)

I think we’re seeing all these posts because LinkedIn “training” is telling people that they should post 3 types of content rotating.

1. Something about your company/product
2. Something about the broader industry you’re in
3. Something personal to you that is still somehow related to your job/industry

I’ve never posted the third type but I’m not a LinkedIn “influencer”

When I was diagnosed (at 20 yo) I started on Adderall XR and my psychiatrist essentially took a “keep upping the dose until you feel side effects” approach, even though I still saw some benefits at a lower dose. I’m currently unmedicated and am somewhat hesitant to restart, but feel I could see some benefit and better stability with the help of medication.

One example of personal experience is my ongoing prep for case studies as I'm interviewing with a number of firms.
