So I've had 2 hiring managers and several recruiters from Amazon reach out to me about applying for some open positions with the company (android). I completed the coding assessment and now they want me to go through a round of 5 hour interviews next week. Is there a good chance I'll be hired if engineering managers are reaching out to me? I'm really not sure how badly I want to work for them and I don't want to be laid off months after being hired on. Anyone know what Amazon hiring is like?

I’ve had friends who told new firm “I can start on x date after my bonus hits or earlier if you are willing to pay a signing bonus that matches the bonus my firm will be paying.”
Came here to say this. You earned that money, and the new firm shouldn’t ask you to walk away from it unless they’re willing to make you whole.
If you don't want to be up front about the bonus situation. You can stall bu asking to meet with some other associates in the office. Give the whole "I want my next move to be my last move and I want to make sure the fit is right."
Tell the new firm you need two weeks more notice than you intend to give your old firm. Accept your offer and then wait until your bonus hits to tell your old firm
If you’re weary about the upfront approach, just say you’re in the middle of a case/deal/filing and you need to see it through before giving your notice. Should buy you some time and makes you look loyal to your firm/dedicated to your work 🤷🏻♂️
It’s wary, not weary, and I wouldn’t be so specific that you’re being dishonest.
