I have a weird experience with KPMG India . Two weeks ago I had salary negotiation with the HR manager. He told me that the offer will be released in a couple of days but I haven't received the offer letter yet.I tried reaching out to the HR manager but didn't receive any response. Shall I take it as no?

The pace is fast and the bar is high. That said, there is a big emphasis on balance. Everyone respects your life outside of work and we have small things like no-meeting Fridays.
If you’re having trouble or second thoughts - reach out to the recruiter you’re working with when I went through the process they helped me out and set me up with other people (outside of the process) to talk to.
Just an example: I left mid day during a huge project to go to my kid’s parent teacher conference. No questions asked and was told to have a good weekend.
You will be busy, but when you need focus time or time away to take care of life - you’ll have the support.
Been at twilio for less than a year but it's the best place I've ever worked. Culture is great though there are issues due to massive employee growth over the last few years but overall it's great. Security is of utmost importance in this space so I'd imagine there may be some pressure but I'd imagine less than at a smaller company. Everyone I've met here has been super helpful all while being remote.
Haven't heard anything too terrible. Just that it can be a bit fast paced over there thats all.
At the end of the day I think you should trust the feeling you’re getting from the interview process. I’m connected with a few people on LinkedIn who work there and seem to really enjoy it. I’m sure experience varies from person to person but it’s definitely possible to have a positive experience.
I think that’s a good perspective. I’m just going to do my best to be thoughtful with my questions and get the answers I need to make a good decision.
I have a connection that only worked there for 9 months (quit two weeks ago) - just said the company culture wasn’t a good fit (I know that’s vague)
I think Twilio is one of those company cultures in which a person is either going to thrive or be miserable. I would ask questions and try to get a sense of it during the interviews.
It's a growing company so there will be pressure. But I am sure there will be support when needed. Did you end up taking the offer?

I am thinking to apply to Briq as BDR, Any Briq people here or who have experience working there that can speak to the overall company culture and work/life balance?
