Interviewing for Accenture and concerned about the background check. I have a few drinking tickets from silly mistakes made in college. How strict is Accenture regarding misdemeanors? Is this an automatic disqualification from consideration? My criminal history is not related to the job responsibilities.

Having been a hiring manager in a previous life, misdemeanors aren't typically looked at unless it's related to theft or violence. You'll be fine!

@D1 I was arrested in 2020 and my case is still going on. I have an offer from DA to plead to a simple assault misdemeanor. How would Deloitte look at it? (have an offer from them and the background check is pending because my case is pending) I don’t know if going to trial is worth the investment so trying to find the effects of simple assault misdemeanor conviction.

Can confirm. I'm on that spectrum 😂

I had 4 MIPs. You’ll be fine.

Thank you for sharing! That makes me feel better.

As long as you are honest about all of it and you’ll be fine

And don’t volunteer more than you need to. If the question says “convicted of…”, you don’t need to offer up a no contest.

Thank you everyone!

Wife got lawyer, and I am interviewing lawyers starting tomorrow. I am primary breadwinner (95%), but she is citing at-fault divorce. I have been having substance abuse issues and anger issues (no physical violence). Need help. She is okay about negotiating outside lawyers. Can anyone recommend a divorce lawyer in ATL area? Any pointers? No kids. Married for 3 years. I paid her student loans and put her through school.

Hi All, Just needed some advice: I gave interview at Deloitte on 10th April and on 15th April I was asked to complete pre-hire survey and submit documents. After that there was silence of almost 1 month then I got call from Deloitte HR on 12th May and discussed salary and confirmed my candidature and told my joining date. After this I haven't got any response in mail - How long does it take them to roll out the official offer letter after oral confirmation? Any similar encounters?

Co B's interview structure is 3 rounds and I've finished my 2nd round today. Interviewed for a role which sounds like a really good opportunity and sounds like they’ll extend an offer. I truly don’t hate my current role right now, but I do question my advancement with my current company (despite not voicing it with them directly). Any advice on how you would handle this?
