Interviewing for an exp hire role for the first time and I want to know more about negotiating an offer. Recruiter calls me with an offer, I say no I want x more, they take my request back?

I’m interviewing for a company and was asked to show work at the in-house company I work for. Problem is most of my work is from an marketing agency. The work that I’ve done in-house so far is very small design tasks in comparison to the work I’ve done at an agency. Should I just show several design assets I worked on at the in-house company?

1 YOE as a data analyst, a month ago I accepted a role as a data scientist at one of the big 4 for 108TC start date is Jan 3rd. I recently received another offer for a tiny startup consultanting firm as a machine learning consultant Tc115. Is it worth reneging my offer? I think I may do more ML work at the smaller firm but idk if I would have the same mentorship and also whether it’s worth giving up the big 4 brand

Interviewed as Technical Program Manager, is it possible to work with the recruiter to ditch the Technical round and aim for Program Manager to increase HC chance? Recruiter said that if I don't feel comfortable for the "technical" piece, then we can hold on sending packet to HC.

I've been working for 6 months as a recruiting temp. My original contract was dec-march. Then we mutually extended it when I had another offer for March. They then offered me full-time but I was interested in another role in another department. They agreed and I'm going to be working the 'temp to hire' role in the new department.

Am I allowed to ask for a new hourly rate for this 'new' role? I took the original rate due to covid necessity but would have asked for more if it was temp-to-hire.

He contacts me again weeks later - his Controller left during the search for CFO and now he has no finance dept. We talked and he wanted to extend an offer by EOW. Followed up after a week and he’d been introduced to another candidate, decided to go with her instead. What gives!?
