Hi everyone, I am 4.9 years experienced , I joined Fractal 3 months ago as a data engineer, but still haven't got any project. Process is so slow that I have received only 4 to 5 project calls. I switched in hopes that will learn the new tech and tools. But now i am starting to forget even the one i knew. Should i go for change or wait a little more time as fractal is reputed in AI/ML? I have interview lined up with Impetus as for now. Would it be better choice?

Clear manager material. Delegation of tasks ๐๐๐
Project plan and expected timelines and management technique also talk about risk management and downside reduction for that p&c side. Especially if they did work comp or realestate.
Huh? This is a bizarre request they've made. Manager of what? What responsibilities would you have? I mean you could share a project plan and budget tracker if that's your responsibility, or a million other things. Seems weird
Very weird. Never heard of this kinda request tbh
Context is healthcare consulting manager, 2nd round interview. Company has a diversified client base outside of hc. Are work sample presentations irregular at this level?
Umm, client confidentiality
Yes, i am acutely aware of this. No client data, names - im not even going to use anything i have made for work - but speak about problem approach, thought process, and so on. I am looking for advice on content and flow, like for example, director 1, if you had to interview a manager candidate based on a presentation, what key things would you look for?
Can you articulate the problem? Do you understand whatโs needed to get it done? What does success look like? Have you thought through all potential risks? How will I be able to keep you accountable? If Iโm hiring a manager they set the plan and buck stops with them.
Thanks for your response. So far, i walk through the statement of problem, the assessment and findings phase, collaborate work with the client, and the foundations i laid to ensure that the change would be sustainable. Thanks for pointing out the risks - i think its something i think about intuitively during the implementation planning phase through available data and assumptions. The topic i decided on was a revenue cycle realignment at centralized office. Most of the risk i dealt with was buy in, teachability, politics...basically the human centered component. So one of my issues is that i manage people through experience, observation, and intuition. Its like of like... if you are a reasonably intelligent, logical person, and you were tasked with improving a process, you might intuitively use PDCA ... are there any commonly used phrases in big 4, since im not a part of that world, that you can share with me to describe some of the human related risk areas?
