Hi Fishes,
Does Deloitte USI have any cool down period, if you apply and do not get any response from the company? I had previously applied in a role, but didn't hear back from them. So, I'm planning to try to apply via referral this time and I'm wondering if I should use the same e-mail ID or a different one! Deloitte USI

How is the work life balance in Citi?
Here is the scenario: Have 2 offers from IT MNCs and 1 from Citi. Citi's offer is the highest. Almost 5 lakhs diff in the fixed component. Although money is important, but I am also seeking a little balance with life. I was previously in ZS Associates and to be frank, life was hell. I am not looking to relive that phase again.
What are the daily actual working hours?
Shall I join Citi or let go it for a lower package offer?
Seeking honest advice here.
Perpetually looking for a job *sigh*

Have a formal offer at Citi for 120K as an AVP in the NY office. Currently making 92K at my current role where I feel there’s not much room to grow anymore. Is this a fair offer? I currently WFH pretty much full time at my current role which has been amazing, but it seems like Citi would require me to be there 2-3 days in the office per week - and this is something I’m very hesitant about. Thoughts on how to approach this?

Failed the program manager Interview late last year.
My advice is to be able to answer questions methodically in your mind but conversationally outside.
You should understand how do market sizing questions (e.g. that Chromecast question has a market sizing component) . Minor estimation type questions and make your answers short and sweet speaking terms of measurable impact and maybe how you measure that impact.
DM and I can send you what I remember. I want you to get so you can help me get in when I try again
My cases at Google interview were very strange and group specific. It was in Google Marketing Solutions, not sure if that is the same as you. I did a lot of case prep but none of it really applied. In the end it didn’t work out. If you are interviewing for GMS feel free to PM
Ah that makes sense. In that case, I will PM you

Interviewing now for a BizOps role and I second D1. Cases to this point have been nothing like consulting. Very much product specific (we want to increase chromecast market cap, how would you approach this?) They basically hit you with problems they've been tasked with solving. I really prefer it since it neutralizes all of the stupid tips and tricks that the folks that churn out cases use. My suggestion is to just study the crap out of the business and the product. Read Tech Crunch, and just have a list of ideas for opportunity and improvements that you can pull from.
D2 - Thanks! This is helpful guidance
Got an offer in GCS and my strategy was to do a bunch of company/product research (made a 20+ slide deck) and a ton of consulting case starts. Obviously the Google interview won't be as detailed as consulting, but it helped me practice identifying and communicating an initial structure. Then from there, just be flexible and follow the interviewers lead because tbh you have no idea where it'll go. Rest assured though, you'll get caught off guard with a question (case or behavioral) that will catch you off guard. Best of luck!
