Interviewing tomorrow at another Big4 firm for a 100% travel position that has "McLean" as the location. Would they ever be okay with me not living in that area? If so, when to bring that question up?

Actually it's KPMG haha

Not living there as in living in DC haha or as in living in NYC.

Serious solid question - following

like

KPMG seems to be the most flexible about work home location tbh

like

PWC1 if you get me an interview at PwC I wouldn't be lying

like

It's PwC folks

Don't lie to me OP

What group OP?

KPMG 1 I would hopefully be able to live in the Tampa area for important family reasons.

EY1 Operations Performance Improvement is what the recruiter called it.

Which means you are lying OP which means you already have an interview with Pdubs

POP is flexible, I know someone aligned to the Chicago office that lives in Columbus

KPMG 2 what level? I'd be a senior associate

Based in McLean but never go into the office because I live downtown and already commute enough Mon-Thurs. colleague from Richmond also has McLean as homebase. We cool

He made the arrangement when he joined as a senior, mgr now

I'm considering that also DD1! KPMG 2 not sure if you would know, but did they make the arrangement prior to joining or after? Also, in advisory role that travels a lot?

It would depend on the team. Some Advisory work done out of McLean and those teams would be most likely to be flexible. Tax and Fed work there much less likely. Ask about it on the interview so you know what is typical for the team, without sounding like you're looking to be a slacker.

KPMG 3 would be financial Services so not Fed or Tax.

FS probably on the road anyway so would be fine with me if I'm hiring it. I'd bet it'll be ok

I did my undergrad and masters in top 10, but don't have much professional experience yet. It seems like I'm quite late to the game at this point and have limited access to recruiting info.
