Interviewing with a couple of firms. What are the must knows I should ask questions about?

Anyone been asked to prepare a slide presentation for an interview about a recent deal you handled describing legal issues etc? I'm currently in house and so feel like this is potentially asking me to beach privilege and/or confidentiality. I could think back to a deal from when I was at a law firm but no way I remember those deals in sufficient detail. And preparing a 15 minute presentation with slides seems like too much effort for a job I may not get! What have you done in this situation?

I applied for and was screened by HR for a Director position. It wasn't a good fit but I was passed over to another VP. I had a phone interview with that VP which went very well. He expressed interest in creating a Director level role for me based on my experience and interests. I received feedback via a 3rd-party recruiter that the company is in the process of creating a req. and will bring me on-site for another interview. Problem: They changed the level to Principal Eng. What should I do?

Currently work at a 2 person firm (me & owner/partner). Don’t make much but lots of freedom and flexibility. ~$250k in loans current IBR paying $0. Interviewed at local legal aid & was offered job $17k more plus 401k benefits & of course loan forgiveness. Two days after that offer my boss tells me he wants me to become partner. Firm is kind of poorly managed and he wants me to help make it better. Having a hard time deciding. Should I put all my eggs in the PSLF basket or become partner?

Started in Tax 1yr ago but was pulled onto PPPConsulting project 10 months in. After PPP I can’t see myself going back to tax. I’ve become interested in healthcare and eventually want to do MHA and go into hospital leadership. Just interviewed for a FA position at large nfp hospital system but also debating shifting to D’s OT health consulting group. I’m a CPA and dk what to pick. Insights? Need to move b4 tax busy season. Consulting starting pay and wlb?

I need some interview tips, I have a virtual interview for another HR Manager position at a much larger company, in the email it said to dress for the position you are interviewing for. At my current company we are very casual Friday all week long as we are in the Non-Profit Arts Entertainment industry. Any suggestions would be appropriated.

I am drowning in customer service 🫠 I have also seen some roles in implementation. I gained 30lbs during the pandemic and on the path to loosing all of it. I picked back my health after being severely burnout from school and work bc I realized my interviews carries stagnant energy

I hired a therapist, career coach, lost weight, even attended to church for the first time in years; but, I think burnout is still effecting me. Not many roles /company excites me and my professional confidence is at a low. Does anyone have advice on how pull out of this career lull?

Is everyone at RSM hired at "consultant" level as I was told? What is that equivalent to at B4?

How have people in this community found the shift to leadership. In my personal experience I found individual contribution tough but then did much much better as a people / team leader. Is this just me or reflective of the broader group here?

How should I list software skills on my resume that I have familiarity with but aren’t highly skilled in? For example, used R in one class, but wouldn’t say I’m an expert. How do you get students to extend their writing voluntarily, without setting a minimum number of sentences/pages? It’s frustrating to say, “Write a paragraph about xyz,” and the first thing kids say is, “How many sentences?” If you say, “Seven,” then they become period counters, and that’s where they stop even if it’s in the middle of a thought. My goal is to give the assignment and they complete it fully without counting periods/pages.
