About to receive an offer from a company similar to my current but w/a Senior title. The compensation is only slightly better but I like the product better and could use a fresh start. I was recruited for the role, as I was planning on waiting til after I moved to a new state to start a job search.

I think I can do better than the new company, but won't have time to start a legit job search for a couple months. Will it hurt me to jump ship, start a new job but then start applying elsewhere?

EY employee having work experience of 2 years and recently got into PIP, and now wants to put down the paper on a good note, to pursue further studies. Will there be any adverse effects if he puts down the paper.
Will they blacklist him or terminate him. Feeling scary.
Also, In pip , if someone puts papers, does he serve notice period of 2 months or they just release him immediately.
Please suggest, feeling scary, one thing I want is to leave the firm in a good note and no bad remarks.

As proud as my family is of my career and accomplishments, I think my mother would honestly be happier or just as happy if I had no degree, a husband, and several children (I'm 29). She doesn't expressly say it but the "don't you get lonely?" comments speak for themselves.

I start a new job tomorrow morning, and one of the reasons they wanted me to start this week is because there is an orientation this Wednesday. However, they emailed me a couple of days ago to double-check if I was attending because company policy states that I would need to be vaccinated to attend. I am a not, they said that's ok I can train from home remotely. This is the first time vaccinations comes up since the work is remot, but they did mention they are thinking about changing to hybrid☹️

As a new product manager what books should I be reading? I’ve already read Inspired but looking or more. For context, I’ve joined a series A start up and as expected there’s a lot to do and it’s very fluid. I want to be able to help the head of product as much as possible as well as provide some structure to how we work.

What kind of tools/methods is everybody using to keep track of ad-hoc, 1:1 and other regular meeting notes, action items for those meetings and to-dos/tasks from outside of those meetings? I’ve found bullet journaling to be extremely helpful, but I’m not a fast enough hand writer and I haven’t yet found an app that’s easy enough to use.

Any current or former Google PMs here that can provide advice? I have a final round with Google and my recruiter is only considering me for YouTube roles as they are from that org. I have a lot of cloud and SaaS experience and would be a better fit for G.Cloud. I've been trying to get my recruiter to consider me for the cloud vertical as well and they are refusing to do that. Hey guys! I recently had a phone screen interview with Amazon for a Tech-PM and non-Tech PM roles. Amazon would like to move me forward with the non-tech PM role. Is this a good career path? They way they explained the difference is that Non-Tech PM works closer with the the business whereas the Tech-PM works closer with the back-end engineers and all of the operations to push a product into production.
