I have been offered an 84.5k and 8% bonus for a IT developer lll, lvl 8. I have around 3.5 years of experience. I started the interview process mentioning that i was expec around 90 and bonus which they we okay with.

1st round of negotiation over a call started at 80K being the max for lvl 7, later they came back with new code and made the lvl 8 offer straight through email.

Do you think there is more scope to negotiate?

I work in tech and have been at my current company for 6+ years now. I'm basically a senior level data analyst and I'm really the only person at my company with that skill set so I get A LOT of high priority requests from every dept. It can get overwhelming.
The idea was just floated to hire and train 2 analysts to work beneath me so that I can focus more on strategy, big picture and optimizations. Should I be asking for a raise and title change? I did get a pretty decent raise in February too.

How do people network naturally? I’ve applied for numerous software engineering intern positions, but I have yet to move past applying. I know networking is key, but I just feel awkward and in a way “dirty”… like I don’t want to feel too pushy or impede on people’s time to get into tech.
