Current CTC - 10.5 LPA (9 Fixed 1.5 Variable)
Tech Stack - Java, Spring Boot, Hibernation, SQL, AWS, devops tools (Jenkins, Docker) etc

Is it frowned upon by tech companies to ask about sign on bonus? I’m not in tech but the recruiter seemed really pissed off and offended that I asked about sign on bonus, and told me I should not bring it up during the recruiter call. Words, “I’m sure you are a nice person, but it doesn’t look good if you ask about sign on bonus during the recruiter call” I didn’t know there was an underlying rule like that, I really didn’t know its offending if I ask about sign on bonus.

Is any PM waiting here for an offer from JIO? It’s been such a long wait, almost 21 days since the salary discussion and no offer yet. Consultant keeps saying that it’s in process and you’ll get it, anyone else faced this with JIO? Should I give up hope?

I’ve been recruited for a role that would be an outside sales role selling ONLY a software solution that Im able to sell at my current company (but usually don’t due to other options that we are compensated better off of.)
