Hello, does anyone work as an auto underwriter for insurance? I recently got accepted for an internal job position and was offered $50k. I’m currently a claim processor making $20/hour so the offer is more than what i’m making but is low in comparison to the average salary for an auto underwriter in AZ (which is around $58k). I lost the passion I had for my job almost a year ago.
My company hired people with same or less experience than I do, but are paying them 30% more than me...
When I requested a raise, they said I'd get 15% for my "hard work"... Come to find a week later that everyone in the company got a 10% raise, even people who just got in or are awful performers, that means my real increase due to my "hard work" is only 5%.

Market offers are around 20% more but haven't been able to pass the interviews.

When I get deliveries, I always ask the delivery person to “just scribble” instead of a signature as it’s not good for either of us to be touching their screen. I then ask “ha how did you know what my signature looks like?” Always puts a smile on their face 🤣

I’ve been a general manager for a convenience store for almost 2 years now. I have raised profit after variable expenses by 13% compared to last year, and I am exceeding budgets by 5-30% in every category except for turnover rate. I got an 11% raise last year, but still only make $55k. My store profits about 17k a month on inside sales, and 160k a month in fuel. Am I being underpaid? I earn £52.5k + £52.5k. Corporate AE (companies with 1000-5000 employees), 2 YOE as an AE, although I was an SDR for 2 years too (in my first year at current company). I am classified as an agent selling health insurance but there’s a private email I recently gained access to showing the company is using my broker license and I suspected that since I’m the agent of record on a lot of business. They pay for everything including leads but I’m working as an agent in one email whereas there’s another showing I’m using my license as a broker.
