Is 2020 too junior to be getting a signing bonus if you lateral? Does it depend on the firm?

Depends on the firm and candidate ultimately. But it is not unheard of so worth trying to negotiate.

Are these signing bonuses only in the US? Would antitrust fall within the corporate realm? I’ve had a few recruiters reach out about antitrust roles at US big law firms in London, which seems to be quite a hot market right now and I am wondering if there would be any capacity for a signing bonus for a 2020 call there

I’m making $110K in the Bay Area. I’ve been working at a non-big4 firm for 6 years without a CPA. I was told I was receiving this salary so I wouldn’t even consider another offer. Any insight into whether this is actually a good salary is greatly appreciated.

Curious to know what salary Social Media Managers are making in the NYC area. Interviewing for management roles and here comes the dreaded convos for desired compensation.

I am working for almost 2.5 years in forecasting team in IQVIA as a consultant. 4 years in ZS before that.

Can I have list of all the companies I can apply to from here on? Priority is wlb and decent salary.

Corp/securities associate and lateraled to a 40-50 attorney firm earlier this year. I’m a non traditional candidate and considered a 3rd or 4th year and make $200k base. Waiting on raise/bonus info but can’t help but wonder if I could be making $100k more at a larger firm and working similar hours. I put a premium on the people I work with and have gotten a good rhythm here as well as built up a good rep so far. For reference I have billed avg. 180-200 hrs a month. Any insights?

Do creative directors have to manage people?
I don’t like managing people, especially juniors who are still figuring out their career paths. But at my company, in order to be considered a leader, you have to manage people. I see myself as a leader, contributing ideas and strategy… I just don’t want to deal with developing performance goals and compensation. Is this the case everywhere? Can I be a creative leader without managing?
