You can start a career in literally anything at 26.

26 isn’t too old to start anything except pursuing a career as a professional athlete.

Changed careers at 31 and it was the best decision I ever made.

Not that I love everything about Deloitte but where I am professionally versus where I would have been without the change is vastly different.

I just switched from a career in the music industry into consulting at 29. Definitely not too late! Find a way to leverage your experience and translate it into market vernacular, it’ll help as you go through informational and formal interviews.

Facing a tricky situation and never dealt with this stuff before 🙃 - I generally dont smoke/drink, its seen as taboo in our culture and our household. I have a younger sibling who just finished college this week. I know he ocassionally consumes alcohol which tbh not too surprised/worried abt. Recently heard from one of his friends that they are worried about his smoking habit and was totally blind sided. Apparently its been going on for 2 months and he recently upped it to twice a day..(cont)

Hello! I’ve been working as a photographer for 15 years both as an employee and a freelancer. I started working full time with my current company a year ago. They’ve just offered me a new position: Creative Services Manager (in house for 4 related brands). I have no official experience in this field and had never heard of it before but feel like it will essentially be a creative director. I will also maintain the photography duties for the time being. Any idea what salary I should ask for?

I'm into Salesforce dev, quite curious abt the product based firms. What's the type of work we have there, timings, work life balance, growth opportunities, new learnings, up to date with latest features etc.
I'm working in a Consulting firm and hope to switch to a Product based soon. Not sure if it'll be a good idea. Got 7 years into Consulting in Big Fours.
Can someone help me with the difference between Product based / Service Based / Consulting Firms based on all above mentioned parameters.

My wife is a teacher and trying to get into the business world. Shes the most organized, personable, detail oriented person I know, so i know she’d do great in something implementation / customer success / project management / business academy related. Any certifications she can get to get noticed & get people to take a chance on her? No luck so far trying to relate the classroom/parent/administration management dynamic to interfacing with a client 😓

Any thoughts on finance in P&G or Unilever? Some people says they are mainly marketing / brand companies, so finance is less important (but the ceo is a finance person in P&G??). Also, many people say that the job is so boring and repetitive.. Actually, I'm planning to move from consulting, mostly because of work-life balance. I'm sure it's more boring, but I think it's not a bad opportunity. What are your thoughts?
