Any way to fake hra?
Hello fishes. I am new to Fishbowl so hopefully I’m doing this right. I am finishing my degree in Computer Engineering and just had an initial interview with Accenture for their Technology Development Program. I am overall very excited, despite some of the opinions I’ve seen. My question is, what certifications or courses do you recommend me pursuing in anticipation of receiving an offer or just in general to continue building my resume? (& where to obtain). TIA!

I make 210K at 25 years… how can I get higher?
Tbh "Imagineer" is just Disney Kool-Aid
Yes,
1) don’t go beyond 15/600 in rent
2) try to cook all meals during the week and bring lunch to work, saves you a ton of money. Trader Joe’s is pretty affordable
3) self control on weekends, go out and have fun but drinks are a rip off here so lack of self control can cost a lot
Absolutely. I lived on 50k for several years. All about keeping your consumerism in check, planning meals, and questioning how you spend each dollar you earn. NYC is full of excess so you need to learn how to not compare yourself with those around you.
Yes, but can easily get carried away in this city. Need some discipline. Eating out is the killer. Make sure you cook as much as possible
Easily. First job in nyc was at 41k in 2015 lol.
Survived on 32k in grad school, and that was comfortable enough (single, no kids). Rent and food/drinks are what get me - so avoid splurging on an apartment as much as possible (balance of keeping yourself happy vs living reasonably)
Living in manhattan with 70k staffed locally. Pretty much what sa1 said
C1- Accenture
Take advantage of all the discounts your firm offers: cell phone reimbursement, comped meals, gym memberships etc.
85k out of undergrad? At Accenture?? Well done. You are already overpaid.
What firm?
Depends on your definition of living comfortably. To me that’s more than living comfortably
