A goal of mine is to leave my PA firm (one of the big 4) this year. Currently in my fourth busy season. Do you think I should wait until getting promoted to senior and leave right after, or leave after this spring busy season? I am not super eager to get a senior position because with Covid and the inevitable learning curve, I don’t feel equipped to accept one. So I was thinking of applying for entry positions. Any advice?
Two years in and I'm still kind of bad at the job, which is hurting my confidence and probably making me worse at the job. I'm trying to stick it out for one more year (will be more like 6-8 months with externship), but curious how others who are mediocre at MBB have found the exit process.
Curious what exit opps Deloitte USDC or other delivery center model folks have achieved?
When do you know for sure you've had it with big 4 consulting for real and it's time to get out?
Recently laid off from Sr. Consultant role in energy in Houston. 4 years exp in supply chain/procurement and 2 in consulting (mainly tech PM work aka scrum). Have my MBA and PSM 1 cert. I know opportunities are far and few between right now, but looking for either energy or supply chain consulting role. Open to travel once resumed. If anyone is aware of a need, I'd appreciate the help!
Pre-MBA strategy 🐠, I’m wondering what kind of salary ranges you have seen when moving to a strategy role in a startup or industry? Trying to evaluate an offer I received and I have no benchmarks
I see a fundamental issue with consultant salary/role expectations when exiting. What do you expect when exiting MBB after 3, 5, 7 years post MBA? What's your target (VC, IB, FAANG etc.)?
If I took a part time MBA program, can I still campus recruit for a summer role at MBB, Big 4, FAANG, etc?
Does anyone know the EY corporate code for the Marriott? And if another big 4 corporate code will the overseas hotel ask for identification?
Hi, I have more than 5+ years of experience in Performance Testing and engineering. I do not want to continue in tech. Want to switch to management. So planning to do a PMP course. Really confused about the consequences after the course, whether I'll be able to successfully get a management role or not. Anyone have any thoughts or suggestions for me? Any guidance is appreciated.
Anyone know what the salary range looks like for a Manager position at Accenture? Talent and org practice in NYC
Anyone know someone who’d be interested in a marketing role at a top VC fund in the South? You’ll be working with some of the most successful investors in the region - partners include a former unicorn founder and a CEO of a $15B company. Ideally a background in tech/digital marketing - looking for someone with 2+ YoE. I don’t have salary details, but I’d imagine pay’s around 80k-90k + bonus. DM me for details.
A friend of mine interviewed at Expedia for a TPM role. The interviews went fairly well but haven't heard back from the recruiters. It's been over a week since the final interview. Did the follow up with recruiter over email but no response. What next? Is it safe to assume that it's a No?
How bad of a look would it be to leave Deloitte to go to AWS after 9 months? Was at previous consulting firm for just over 2 years. Kind of over D and see a potentially interesting exit at AWS but don’t wanna cripple my resume with a short stint, especially if I apply for an MBA next year. Do I stick it out for a year? 2?Deloitte Amazon Web Services
I’m an audit 3rd year associate trying to make the jump to operations consulting but haven’t had any luck with interviews. Any tips/tricks on improving with that? I’ve applied to other big 4, boutique firms etc.
First job out of college so pardon my ignorance.. but are other jobs as high stakes as B4? Like the whole tier rating system, metrics tracking, snapshots.. I’m

Have seen a lot of negative about Trump lately. Don't forget, if it wasn't for him, Juneteenth would still be an ignored holiday.
Won’t get employee match on 401k until next year I believe. Should I continue to contribute 15% or lower it and wait to contribute more when I get matched? Or does it matter? Hope to get some advice!
Anyone receive an offer for Senior Manager, Strat and Ops role at DoorDash recently? Do you mind sharing what was your total comp? Have an exploding offer and might not be able to finish the DD process. Did a search but couldn’t find the range.
Hello, My last day in Accenture was 16 July 2021. I got paid yesterday 1-15 July 2021. Do i have to wait until 6 Aug 2021 for the final one day pay as well my PTO pay? Let me know if anyone has idea. Thanks
Can you apply for a green card to work in the US to sponsor yourself without an employer sponsored work visa (TN or otherwise)?
County counsel experience - does anyone have insight into how working in a county counsel office might compare to a law firm? I know each one is probably different, but just wondering generally about work life balance, workload, etc. I’m looking to escape billable hours and pressure to find clients, and would like to work somewhere with real vacation days. Thanks!
It seems Campaign article on parental leave has made many rethink their attitude on the subject. Shame on you for only changing when you feared for yr reputation. And not when employees demanded it.
Hey guys, got an offer from a niche consulting firm with a great reputation. Their pay is lower in comparison to market but is currently higher than mine. Would it be appropriate to ask them for future Green Card sponsorship / include it as part of the offer letter (obviously, upon meeting satisfaction requirements). Need your advice on negotiating here. BTW, I’m from the UK.
I’m currently interview and I’m nervous about going to a new job that is hybrid or remote at the moment. A big reason I was successful in my current position was by earning people respect through having a good attitude, doing whatever work was asked of me, and showing that I genuinely care/want to learn. I feel like without being in person it will be much harder to develop these personal relationships with coworkers and earn their trust. Am I overthinking this?
What should I do with my 401k if I am leaving Deloitte? The fund my 401k is in has a very low fee of .01%, so I would like to leave it, but I can’t find any info on if there will be larger fees after I leave.
PTO - Alhumdulillah
What should I wear for an interview to lateral into big law as a woman? My current practice is very casual and I rarely dress even in business casual clothes. Go for bright colored blouse with suit jacket and pants? Skirt a must? Stay classic with black and white? Heels or flat shoes? Do I need to do my nails? Hair curled/put back? Not sure how much this all matters beyond generally dressing up.
