Depends where you’re traveling from. I traveled from Connecticut to New York on the train and it took about a hour.

If I take the train from Poughkeepsie or Southeast station it’s roughy 1-1.5 hours, but as long as you have something to keep you occupied it’s not bad.

Hi all! Revising my resume. I’m a graduate business student with 4 years post grad experience. I removed my internships to ensure my resume is 1 page. But I was wondering if there’s any appropriate sources for resume templates. I’m afraid my bullets aren’t as strong as they should be and my margins may be to narrow. If anyone can quickly revise that would be much appreciated. Any guidance/feedback is welcomed !

Had an Excel assessment yesterday as the second to last step in an interview process. I was using a new computer and long story short, had some technical difficulties (or maybe just my own incompetence under stress) and ended up only getting through half of the test. I’m on the fence about emailing my recruiter and explaining the circumstances/asking for a retest. Don’t want to come off like I’m complaining but also don’t want this to be the reason I don’t move forward. Any advice appreciated…

I’m a fairly new grad. Got licensed in January and started working in February. I moved across the state for this job taking my family with me. Now 4 months in it’s such a toxic environment. Unethical, unhealthy. I’m looking to apply to other places. Do I put this company on my resume to show I’ve been working since I graduated or is it worse to show I want to leave after only 4 months? Also, absolutely cannot have them contact my current job or use them as a reference. Put them or no?

Good morning. Looking for advice on salary negotiation. I am an Admin Coordinator at major NYC hospital (19years) with 23 years of admin experience, but no degree. Coordinator level positions at my hospital are considered management, however I am planning to relocate to Ga and I’m finding the salaries for this same position or office manager are almost$10K-12K less than I currently make. I have other leadership experience within a volunteer org but not sure how to negotiate for a better salary.

I love what I do. However I’m now stuck in a power struggle between the President of the local hospital and the VP if the service line. I’ve been struggling with competing interests. Don’t know what to do, as I’ve not ever been in this situation. One says I have the authority to make decisions while the other says I don’t…… I represent the entire local region of a much larger system
