Definitely! Even can put frozen meat in there of you forget to thaw it - which I do a lot!!! Tons of recipes online

I like it simply because you set it and forget it. With three small children running around the kitchen I cannot be standing around stirring a pot even if it’s not faster by the time it comes to pressure. Even spaghetti is easier because it’s only one pot and put it all in close the lid and walk away. I actually like to taste better too.

I think meat cooked in a crock pot generally tastes pretty gross, but I love my IP. It’s great for non-meat items as well.

I have a Ninja Foodi that’s a combo of Instapot, Crock Pot, Airfryer, etc. and we use it at least twice a week. The Instapot isn’t my favorite function since it takes more time than the recipes say to come up to pressure before cooking and then depressurize when it’s done (it doesn’t really seem so Instant to me). But I love that I can do everything in one pot and cleanup is super easy!

Yes. We use it every night and between prep and serving it’s an hour. I use Pinterest to find easy 3 ingredient recipes because I am a terrible cook. But lately everything has come out tender and well seasoned with plenty of portions.

I don’t use mine a lot but often use it when we are busier than normal. My go to is this recipe called instapot umami pasta, the ingredients may sound weird but it’s amazing. It’s also great that you can throw in chicken, beans, corn, rice and salsa and end up with a great dinner.

Yes! We use ours all the time, and food comes out soft enough that the our 8 month old can eat it too! I just Google “Insant Pot” and the names of a few ingredients I have in the house and there is usually a decent recipe available.

Yes! I don’t use mine a ton in the summer, but it’s a life saver when I forget to thaw chicken or need cooked chicken for a recipe. Totally worth it.

I have one that I’ve used maybe twice.

It's a magical item. Husband got one for a great deal and we use it regularly.

Agreed with above. It’s a prep time saver or if you’ve forgotten to thaw meat, but the amount of time from starting to when you’re eating isn’t really decreased. Takes an extra 10-15 minutes for the instant pot to get enough pressure, so a 10 minute cook time is actually about 20. Not a big deal but something I wish I knew right when I got mine!

We use it so so much. The Kitchn and Gimme Some Oven have most of our favorite recipes. My kids like boiled eggs and I use it a lot for that.

Thank you everyone for the great tips!

Trying to figure out how to manage health issues and work balance. I just recently found out I might have herpes (waiting for the test results to come back) and I have been very and feeling like my life is over especially because it came from being cheated on and struggling with prioritizing my bandwidth and not knowing how to communicate it with my team. Due to stigmas around something as common as herpes I cannot comfortably share that with my team.
