Should I tell my immigration team about it? Also filing a DS160 with new passport and when had received an approval when old passport was present. So should I be doing anything new?

Just heard that my district will have classroom and live-recording learning. I’m thankful because I now can feed my family, my newborn and a recent-sponsored wife! Deloitte onboarding E-mail says , it background verification is not complete by target start date , they can postpone the date last minute.
I have 14th march as a start date and I don’t know my background verification status.
I emailed BIONBoarding but no response.

My H1-B expires on April 2022. My perm is currently in process and they are applying for H1B extension and H4 visa extension for my spouse. The immigration team said that they can apply for an H4 ead as well. Is that possible? My H1b visa started April 2016 on i-94 and and is stamped as start date April 2016. I have only been physically in the US for 5 years and 2 months. I am confused on how can they still file for an EAD? Am I missing something?

US immigration question. Green card interview date was cancelled in March 2020. It’s been a whole year of just waiting for a reschedule date, so the I-485 is transferable (e.g. to another state, another employer). Has anyone transferred their i-485 to another employer? What was that process like? Would my process start from the interview phase? How did you prove that the next job was in the same category? I’m EB3 (China) with a PD of 4/2021, my lawyer just told me she projected immigration visa will be available for my case by mid-2031. 🤣 I’ll be like what, 40 years old by then? Lol I don’t know if I wanna spend my next 10 years being restricted by visa all the time.
