We had a snoo and we loved it.

Vote for night nurse! In addition to watching baby at night, they can help establish good sleep habits and are an awesome resource

Rent the SNOO for first few months and get the night nurse for atleast couple of nights for establishing sleep habits and they are also great resource. We rented SNOO but could not get night nurse because COVID baby! Good night sleep specially 2 weeks post delivery helps so much in recovery! We did not have any help expect hubby and me tag teaming, we did it but if you have a choice, get help please!
If your baby wants to eat and the Snoo isn’t going to do any good. I had a Snoo and regret it. Both of my babies ate every 2 1/2 to 3 hours through the night until seven or eight months old. If they didn’t they fell off their growth curve. They were big, both over 9 pounds at birth. The night nurse was great because at least that I wasn’t burping and rocking and shushing them back to sleep.
One month is hard. I think at three months as one things start to get a little easier. You got this mama, it won’t last forever even if it feels like it in the moment.
Thanks for this

Our baby never liked the snoo much, but our night nurse was a life saver!! But I know lots of people who swear by their snoo.
That’s the thing with babies - you never know what they will or won’t like, or will or won’t need, in advance 🙃
I’d vote night nurse - the skin contact and human touch just feels so important at that young age, to know your LO is being held and snuggled. And agreed, they are such a good resource to help get you set up for success for the long run.
I have both, but of the two I’d definitely not give up the night nurse. We’re in a routine now that I just pump a couple times a night (she brings me pump parts from refrigerator downstairs, wakes me up, and takes the pumped milk downstairs when I’m done) and she feeds my baby pumped breastmilk all night. At first I was really sad not to see him for the whole time she’s here (8 hours), but honestly it’s so much more efficient and practical than trying to breastfeed in the middle of the night when we’re both so sleepy and delirious. I’m finally feeling properly rested. Of course, the night nurse for any extended period of time is more expensive. We pay ours about $300 per night ($38 per hour).
Ok I am definitely getting a night nurse after reading these posts. How did you find yours?

About to find out! We did night nurse with first two and we are renting SNOO with our third. We still are lining up the night nurse a few nights a week for the first few weeks because getting some sleep is a top priority for us.
Good luck!! Any tips on best ways of finding a good night nurse?
Night nurse! I had the snoo and my mom who spent the night every other night and between the 2, having her around was wayyyy more useful. Snoo didn't become useful to rock him back to sleep until maybe month 2 or 3. Then at 4mo, he outgrew it.
What’s a snoo?
Ahhh. My husband swears by the night nurse he had with his daughter.
