Or the taxonomy of nouns and the effect it has on the grammar and case usage in just about every indo-european language? Yeah, tell me about it... 🙄 #CancelAllLanguages

Nah bro and anyone who says otherwise a broke boy hater

I would say yes but I would also have absolutely no problem getting one. It's a sweet car.

Lol. Nothing in my comment about one specific car could be seen as all encompassing over an entire car type.

Did you read an article in the journal today

Been looking and can’t find it

My wife drives a White Porsche Cayenne and it’s a sweet SUV. Handles like a sports car and I don’t have any qualms about driving it around town. If you go with a Black outside color, perhaps red interior it would be more masculine. Either way, it’s a great vehicle and we have been very happy with it summer or winter weather (Midwest).

Old school non PCer here. No, it's not considered a girl car. That would have been the boxster. At first it looks like a girl car but it's suitable for a guy if he's taking his kids to school, soccer practice, etc.. For a single dude without kids, looking for a guy car though? Nah. On second thought, a single gal without kids shouldn't be driving a cayenne either.

How is your medical system deciding how to vaccinate healthcare providers, nurse and ancillary staff for Covid 19? Ours seems to be worried about optics and prioritizing is unclear to many of us who completed the attestation and willing to get vaccinated. While the rest of the country have started to vaccinate, we have yet to start vaccinations until tomorrow.

A day after I sent my signed offer to an agency and putting my two week notice to my current agency, I just received an interview request from my dream tech company ever that will allow me to get out of advertising. Should I still take the interview? And what can I say if I want to keep in touch?

I fired my largest client today. 🙀 Sometimes it just isn't a good fit. It has to be a fit for not only my client but also for my agency. We're selective about the work we take on because relationships do matter, and strong relationships = better results. Today was liberating. What a breath of fresh air. We are accepting new clients for everything marketing related including graphic design, website design and development, SEO, digital campaigns, product photography, and video production.

I need help with my daily makeup routine/application. I'm looking for a natural smoky look a la Olivia Pope/Kerry Washington. Any recommended tutorials to help me re-learn how to apply? Prefer someone who gets to the point, talks about technique and keeps it simple. Bonus points if there's someone who helps you identify the best looks for your eye shape. Does this unicorn exist?

Got a verbal offer for a job that I want. The offer is pretty good too, more in line with the work I want to do, 40% raise in base salary, and other benefits are roughly the same. Waiting on the official offer, to come on Monday. The problem is, Stockholm syndrome is real, I keep feeling bad for leaving my team as busy season is kicking off. What are ways to deal with this “guilt”?

Was hired into a company at a level that was more junior than my skills (Was out of work due to pandemic for a year). I’ve been at the company 5 months. We’re going through a reorg and my new position will really be leveraging my years of experience more so than other role. Is it appropriate to discuss a raise/adding senior to title? Or should I do the job and then prove myself then talk about raise. I have more experience than the senior members of my team. New leadership than when I was hired

Curious if any MBB folks can shed light on current hiring environment. Undergrad campus hire at Deloitte S&O recently laid off in the COVID cost cutting wave after 2 years. Disappointed, but grateful for some freedom to explore here! Primarily looking at industry/corp strat jobs since consulting in general has been hit so hard, but considering applying to Big 3. Have heard from a few MBB friends that new hires with offers aren’t starting till end of year. Any chance of a lateral move right now?

Just got a big raise (50%+) starting July 1st that is going to move me out of income limits for direct Roth IRA contributions (prior to raise was under the limit) even with maxed pretax 401k and HSA - however I am already halfway through contributions ($3000). What options do I have to address these excess contributions?

Hello! I have a two part question: 1) is it worth it to obtain an SHRM specialty credential if I don’t have the broader SHRM certification? 2) has anyone gotten the People Analytics or Talent Acquistion credential? If so, how valuable was it from a learning perspective? Do you feel it significantly contributed to your knowledge in either area? Thank you!

I have Amex points on corp card and need to buy a long haul flight. Recently accepted an offer but I got another one later on with better pay and benefits for the same job. How common is for people to withdraw from accepted offers and how do you address it? Will that affect possibilities to move to that company in the future?
