Is Affirm to finance a purchase a bad idea if it’s 0% APR and interest? I don’t understand how they make money. If it’s truly free, I’d do it to offset opportunity cost of ROI

It's 0% apr only if have excellent credit. If they're offering 0%, go for it. There's no hidden fees.

They make money by charging the retailer a fee.

Take it - 0% APR is a no brainer

He’s never been good with money so early on I took control of the finances but I miss doing things for me (eg spa day, nails, meeting friends for brunch). He’s not frivolous with spending I just don’t make enough to support us and do many other things. Any tips to motivate him and that don’t involve divorce? I still love the stupid lazy bastard

Additional context: Also have a new house that I make payments on and the plan is to the rent out the townhouse.

I have so much anxiety about money that I can’t even think about it.

Married, 2 kids, dual income.

Home equity: $200k
Gross annual HHI: 234k.
401k: ~60k
Emergency: $12k
Savings: 20k
Debt: One low-interest car payment

We just spent 60k on a lot down payment with the dream of building in a few years.

We don’t budget at all. And we don’t do anything else with our money - like investing in the market.

We just went on in 3.5k family vacation and I feel so guilty about it.
