Anyone who has had a baby while working at LEK care to share what the experience was like for you (honestly)? Trying to make sure my next firm is a long term pick and I like LEK, but the horror stories on WLB have me worried that raising a family in a few years will be damn near impossible there.

Michigan is worth it. Nebraska not so much.
Currently first year working. Many industry jobs require a masters and an MBA seems to be more worth while since I already have a BS in cyber security. What do you guys think?
Asked this same question today. I think the BS in Cybersecurity will carry more weight with your added experience 5-10 years down the line bc our industry is so hot. Of course the MBA helps but if your goal is CISO you may be able to make that just with a ton of experience. Say at 10-15 years in consulting or director/md level? (which may be the only thing you'd be likely for - not sure if you consider this "upper management"). Just my perspective for down the road
At Kpmg, if you're working internally you need a masters to be a director or higher.
MBA will allow you to pivot given your background to jobs you could not get right now
It all depends on what you want and where you are in your life
Michigan yes
Michigan. Northwestern.
Yea besides Kellogg and ross I might say Kelley but that's it
What about Penn State, Rutgers, or Maryland U?
Business school is a great option for a reset and to explore your passions. Personally, if those were my only options I'd re apply next year. Unless timing was important
I don't even know what schools I'd have a good shot in getting into. I went to PSU, graduated with a 2.9 cum gpa, and a 3.55 major gpa. I won't be applying for 2-3 years, but I doubt a top 20 would take me.
I know other companies have similar policies, so my feeling is I need a masters
I'd go to the West division certainly - Harbaugh, Meyer, Franklin have made the East way too tough for a new entrant. You lose too many games out there, the athletic director'll fire you before you can sneak out with a degree.
Now a school like Iowa though? Schedule's shaping up pretty nice for a 2018-2019 stint in the hot seat 🤔
