Deloitte Consulting MBA starting salary is $40K signing + $147K base + 5-20% bonus first year haha
No
Don't discount how much fun a MBA is
do you want to stay in advisory? If yes, then MBA is not worth it. If you want to change to industry/another form of consulting, then a good MBA will help you switch without taking a lateral/step backwards/be silo'd
An mba gives you the skills to hit a much higher top end salary if you leave consulting.
That being said....most people leave the rat race around 140-200k.
Maybe that is good enough...maybe not
When will you get another great reason to take two years away from work while making life long friends? I would do it all over again if I could :) I enjoyed every day of it.
No, you will also need to take into account loss of income and living expenses. Unless you plan to do a part-time. Adan MBA you'll come into consulting at 140 and industry jobs at 125
It can be a real game changer if you go to an M7 program. I'd be hard pressed to go to less than that coming from consulting
If U stay in consulting no. If u plan to leave prior to SM yes.
What city?
NYC, but flexible to relocate
Don't do it.
Still think don't think it's worth the amount of life you have to invest.
