How much weight do you give Glassdoor and other employee reviews? In the process for a referral interview, looked on GD, and the company had a 2.9 with 0% approval of their “young CEO”. Flags included toxic culture, overworking employees, smoke and mirrors hype. It is an agency startup though, so a heavy workload I feel is common. It’s also closer to the field I want to be in, but does not sound like a coaching environment. Should I go forward or just politely decline?

I was interviewed at AIS for a manageral level role. They discussed everything beforehand like every company does even my NP and Expectations. After that my 1st round was held which went well. 3 Days later i was told I'm shortlisted for final round but my NP and ECTC is higher which has been sent for approval. It's been 3 weeks now and they are still saying it's sent for approval. How was i interviewed then if they already knew about my NP and ECTC. Anyone has any idea what does this mean/say.

Is it a red flag if, after almost two years in a full quota carrying and selling role I want to take a lower role at another company in order to break into a field (tech sales) I want to work in? It’s better pay - closer to home and at a company with a better reputation?

If your salary expectation falls outside the range that HR may have shared in the initial round, do you continue interviewing with the hope that they may make an exception if they really like you and offer you more ?
PS- this is when HR does not know what you make or expect.
