Is anyone able to explain to me what chronic fatigue syndrome really is? I am not sure if it's like a real diagnosis I need to look into?

It's definitely real but I think it gets misdiagnosed a lot. I have a family member who has it. It can be really hard to live with, to be honest.

Yes it is the worst thing to experience and yes it is a real diagnosis!!!!

Yes, it's a real disease. Many people claim to have it because they think that it's just being really tired. It's so much more than that. Chronic fatigue can also cause pain and even chronic headaches.

Is it normal to not care anymore?
I don’t really have any goals. I don’t feel like working. I’ve lost motivation and I don’t know what to do anymore. I’ve been like this before COVID-19 so it just feels like the pandemic was confirming my own existential dread. How do I get out of this rut?

I am debating going to therapy for some anxiety issues I have but I truly feel like I understand why I feel the way I do and I manage to cope with it well enough. I wish I could stop the anxiety completely but I am not sure a therapist could do that. I just fear I would be throwing a lot of money at some thing just to be told what I already know possibly. Has anybody been in a similar position and found therapy worth it?

I tried to get on anti-depressants in college. The doctor at student health said I wasn’t depressed enough, too high functioning, well-adjusted, etc. I didn’t want to argue, I was afraid of coming off as “drug seeking”. It’s been a few years and it’s gotten worse. I don’t enjoy the things I used to love, I don’t want to do anything other than sleep, I’m struggling with an eating disorder, work feels like torture. I’m terrified of going back to a doctor and either hearing the same thing or having it go the other way and get put in some kind of in-patient program. How do you do this?

Sort of had a bit of a breakdown today and cried all afternoon. This has never happened before and nothing significant caused it, I think it’s just been built up over a couple weeks. I feel like I’m mentally strained (not understanding concepts and can’t focus), impatient, and overreacting. Anyone have short term and/or long term solutions? I plan to take scattered vacation days this month... I would try for tomorrow but It’s an important week at work and the only other exec is on vacation.

F fish here—I’m trying to be a better online dater. what are people’s strategy for online dating? How many ppl do you match vs talk to vs meet up? What are the best apps/date avenues? I find it hard to talk/go on dates with my matches cause I’m not a great texter and I’m not really feeling interested in people’s profiles (in person is way more interesting to me but I’m trying to be flexible with covid).

My firm covers $24k for fertility treatment & $7.5k for meds (only through CVS specialty) pharmacy and these are lifetime max. I’m having difficult time with meds coverage as it seems $7.5k is not enough for egg freezing. How should I go best about using this $7.5k? I need Gonal F, Menopur, Cetrotide (more expensive ones) and HCG, Ganirelix, Letrozole. Is it better to buy Gonal F for all of $7.5k? CVS quoted $2,340 they’d charge insurance per pen & my copay would be $360.

I did very well in school but I didn’t get enough clinical exposure because of the pandemic. I keep talking myself out of applying since I don’t think I’ll interview well with this mindset.

So my 15 week old puppy has diarrhea and a little blood in his stool - otherwise perfectly normal. The vet is withholding his 2nd round of vaccines until he’s ‘better’ but it’s been 2 weeks and the meds he’s on (Metrodonazole and fenbendazole) haven’t stopped the loose stools or blood. I’m wanting to take him off of these meds and try other food (maybe he’s allergic to chicken?) and i want to get this boy vaccinated to start socializing him.
