COVID-19 is not influenza: In-hospital mortality was 16.9% with COVID-19 and 5.8% with influenza. Mortality was ten-times higher in children aged 11–17 years with COVID-19 than in patients in the same age group with influenza.

Yes. Horrid.
Wait some people don’t ever experience tinnitus??? I thought that was something everyone experienced, I’ve had it since I was very young and so has most people I know from what I remember 🤯🤯
No, it’s not normal.
I’ve had tinnitus since high school and am 26 yo now. Eventually you’ll learn to ignore it but short term, a white noise machine could be useful. If it persists for over a week or two I’d talk to an audiologist
I’ve somehow developed periodontitis since getting COVID. Really scary to think about all the long term effects this lab made virus could cause us down the road
Good thing we’re doing absolutely nothing to mitigate the spread
I’ve had tinnitus for years. You get used to it.
It’s hard to say without hearing yours, but it’s likely just that it’s new for you. Your brain will learn to tune it out to an extent, but it will be more noticeable at times.
I didn’t have tinnitus, but my ears did feel kinda “stuffy” for a couple days and I had to keep popping them to get my full hearing back
I’ve had it since I was a kid. It’s not 24/7, but def happens on a daily/every other day (lasts about half a min each time usually, at most 2x a day when I do get it). I just wait for it to go away at this point.
Texas Roadhouse CEO shot himself from tinnitus after recovering from COVID
