I have 401(k)s from previous employer, which I left as 401(k) instead of converting to an IRA so that I could backdoor Roth without complications.

I have been working 20 years and with 2 kids now I am feeling completely burn out. Right now I m waiting for my company yo laid people off and sort of looking forward to a bit of career break. I feel too drained to interview now even through I hate my job.. nor do I have any interest with taking a job that require in office commuting 3 hrs a day. For those that have taken a career break, how hard is it to go back to working? Does it set your career back a lot?

I am about to close on a property this week, we are buying it as a second property but want to rent on Airbnb. I have business income of about 100k from my other business this year, can I write off anything from this transaction against my business income ? If I have to, can I quick claim and put the deed in my business name and claim expenses ?

I used to think it was the hours that would bounce me out of consulting. I’m in leadership now; realize what will have me exit is the unrepentant aggression and rudeness from our seniors. No emotional intelligence, and no willingness to think on ways to push and motivate teams that don’t involve being aggressive pricks. Hello Everyone, I need your suggestions. I worked as a Software Tester for 1.3 yrs during the beginning of my career 2006 till 2007. I had moved into ITSD because of some family issues that made me move to my hometown. I have about 10yrs experience in leading and Managing SD teams and handling Change Management, problem Management, doing quality control etc. I wish to change to Testing now. Is that a possibility? I find roads getting closed and I don't want to go into Ops management.

Is there any openings for Manual Testers with more than 6 yrs of experience?
Or some or other automation is required?
