1. Her testimony wasn’t all hearsay. 99% of it wasn’t.
2. While a fun little anecdote, the SUV temper tantrum was one of the least important parts of her testimony

They have to focus on that because the other firsthand testimony is damaging, esp the acknowledgment of armed participants. That’s coming back to bite him.
I am 100% not bothered. If the testimony damages anyone, they are free to appear themselves and refute it - or provide statements to that effect. Neither of which I believe has happened.

If someone wants to testify under oath to give a different account they are free to do so.

My goodness. The amount of time this man gets a pass is amazing. He is exactly who people describe him to be: petty, spoiled, irate, vengeful, etc.
Cassidy is just the latest person to point to his character flaws. Remember Rex, General Kelly, Matis, Cohen, etc. There are more people who describe him the same way than not. His response is always “I don’t know that person, yada yada yada.”

Someone says something negative / sensational about Trump — Media abandons all editorial standards and rushes each other to publish it — Public outrage and confirmation bias against Trump — Comes out that the story is untrue or exaggerated — Media and public is already on to the next sensational story and the correction is printed on page 12.

***One*** of the many things she said was hearsay. She was clear that this wasn’t something she personally witnessed, and she is saying it under oath.
Amazing how the right is latching onto this one potential wrinkle in her testimony, despite everything else said that she personally witnessed or was a part of and that there was far more damning testimony from her than this. They’ve also made their usual rounds saying she was a low level nobody, etc., despite her office being 3 doors down from the Oval Office in the west wing.
All that aside, hearsay can be admissible in court. You need to stop educating yourself in the comment sections of right wing news social media pages.
I’m pretty sure the committee has actual evidence of the attempting witness tampering. Frankly, IDGAF about the giant toddler behaving like a toddler. I care, and all Americans *should* care, about the illegal and treasonous actions he performed and asked others to perform on his behalf.
I mean him tossing his ketchup-soaked burger makes for a funny meme, but him stating Pence deserved to be hung by his armed-mob because Pence refused to do illegal tasks for him really *should* be a step too far for everyone. Most especially anyone currently claiming to be “Pro-Life”.

Hearsay is accepted in court and it can be valid evidence depending on the cicumstances.

What Maddow reported is that the Secret Service agents that are denying Hutchison's testimony are yes men, so they'll say anything to protect him from these accusations.
If the others would like to sit and testify under oath, it could very easily be resolved.
Desperate times call for desperate measures. The whole charade is a joke at this point but the democrats hate Trump so much all they know is orange man bad.
