What are good side gigs for a client services/advertising professional? I found that my skills are barred.
Hi, I was just wondering for those of you who worked Deloitte and EY before. I was just approached by a recruiter to discuss an assistant director business analyst in their client technology group. But is that level about the same as a Deloitte manager role? Thanks!
Requested off of my main client but I feel like the team is selfishly holding onto me. What is a reasonable amount of time to wait in this situation? Counselor has been involved and not a calendar y/e

I recently joined IBM GBS still not assigned to any project. What action I should take from my side and what will be the bench policy.
been in the game for 6 years, and this pandemic and being crazy overworked has reached its peak. I’m thinking of taking some time off and potentially trying freelance. I’ve got a lot of past agency / client connects, but wondering if there’s anything you wish you knew before going freelance / what I should prepare for. And yes, it might be a terrible mistake to leave a good and stable job rn but as it is I am miserable and tired and I’d rather neither of those things for a bit before I jump in.
How do you handle a client who doesn’t give actionable feedback and only says things like, “I don’t know what I’m looking at,” or “I don’t like this.”

Looking for advice on this conversation. First negotiation attempt ever! I’ve been in my role for 1 year. Promoted in from corporate recruiting, 5 years of experience there. No degree, just hard work and dedication.
1) A raise. Currently at $65K, which is about $10K lower than the bottom of the salary range.
2) Title change. My title is Global Total Rewards Project Manager. I design and manage our TR strategy for 17 different countries, and I feel like my title is a little misleading.

Building off the used car thread, I’ll be in the market for a new car next year. I’ve always bought used and would like to try new this time, but is that a mistake with the car market like it is? I don’t urgently need a new car, is it better to wait till later in the year or possibly 2024?
P1.Currently work as a sales associate who makes minimum wage in CA ($15) but is always available for more hours, I am always reliable to my job when needed. They soon asked me to be a key holder, temporarily with no pay raise. I would be opening and closing the store and registers as well as handling money in the safe. I would also still have my obligations as a sales associate. . After researching online, I asked for temporary pay raise of $2 which allowed my manager to negotiate if needed…
Side projects are one-liners on my resume. Should I use a given director title on one if I wasn't really a director? Got the title because we were incorporating and CEO wanted to formalize for the future. But only 3 part time reports, and even then we were all volunteers and very low effort.
Thinking of keeping it for the talking point, but using quotes to show that I know it was silly. The single resume line would read...
- Marketing "director" at XYZ. Did ABC with DEF.
Boutique transactional practice. Firm is growing post-COVID. Things are at risk of falling through the cracks. I need an easy way to track matters for status reports with colleagues in the firm without remaking the wheel.
Currently using Clio, which has its limitations for this purpose. I know colleagues that just use an excel spreadsheet.
Anyone from EPAM SYSTEMS still waiting for project to be allocated? It's been a while since I am waiting 😅
Is that the normal practice in EPAM Systems
Recently received a reject from Bain for full-time MBA recruiting. Specially bummed because I made great connections at my target office and did few cases that went pretty great as well and I did not even get an interview invite! I am not sure what I did wrong. Is the headcount target reduced due to poor economic outlook?

I recently got a verbal offer to return to as an Account Executive at Indeed after leaving earlier this year for a start up company. Gartner I’m currently interviewing for an AE (conferences) position and was curious to hear from some people within on how many people hit their quota, how attainable it is to blow it out and just some inside info on what day to day is like in a position like this. Also coming from someone with no outside sales face to face experience I was curious what it’s like making that transition.
