So, this is a little awkward, but I recently moved to SD for a fresh start, and honestly, I love this city. My problem is I have been more of a homebody since I moved here and I'm a little intimidated to go out and meet people because I don't feel like I fit in here. Currently in a long distance relationship, and this year me and my future fiancé are looking for a place to settle down. I’m in the west coast and she’s in the east coast. The most logical option is to move back to NYC but I’m not too excited about the work culture, weather, and work opportunity in tech. CA also has terrible housing options for my price range and ranks low in education. Is it worth it to sacrifice education and housing for better career prospects and better weather?
