Go for the IUD. Worth it
Rising Star
Yes for me it did, I tried all kinds, low dose, nuva ring. I also felt sensitive to the hormones - mooood swings baby!
I have the copper IUD. Love it! Has some side effects - heavier periods for the first few months, cramps but evening out now. And it's so effective and last 12 years...I'm 36 so might be the only bc I need for the rest of my life.
Had Mirena IUD, and I went from massive sex drive to none... the hormones can definitely screw things up

This!! Everyone says IUDs can’t change your sex drive but I swear they do... other than that so perfect
Yes. My OB is convinced I have PCOS and put me on a high hormone pill and I’m miserable.
That sucks. I hope you don't have PCOS. Maybe seek a second opinion?
It did for the first month or two I started taking it. Like to the point where anything remotely sexual (even stuff on TV) would actually make me nauseous.
It did eventually go away and I feel like I settled back to my normal. I know they say to give it a few months to adjust, but obviously you should listen to your own body.

Yes.
