Personally, I’m loving it. We have separate-ish work areas. I have more calls than she does and have been extremely busy, but I love being able to sneak a kiss or so on downtime. I would be going crazy without her here and my at home workouts added to our impending doom really seem to be doing it for her.

Well, my dude and I had only 2 days alone wfh before our 2y.o. “coworker” joined us (daycare shutdown) and it has been real since. I can’t really afford to get bothered by his weird work habits because I cannot get any work done unless he’s here to help with the little so I think he is PERFECT rn 😂😭🤦🏻‍♀️

I’m convinced ppl aren’t meant to spend 24 hours a day with their spouse. It’s wild what’s happening in this house. 😩

Honestly when I realized everyone was going to be WFH I went to my sister’s house and left my s.o. in the apartment alone. I felt a little bad until I read this post. I think I saved our relationship.

GLAD I AM SINGLE!!!!!!!!!!! 😃

I’m envious of anyone at the beginning of a relationship — say, two months in — when all you want to do is be around each other, cook, drink wine, play games and romantically entangle. Yeah, two months in is the sweet spot.

If you like traveling, going out for meals and concerts, spontaneous activities, hanging with friends, quiet nights, easy mornings, saving your money, staying healthy-looking and well-rested, sleeping and hobbies, then probably not, no.

My husband has no concept of not talking to me while I'm on a call. I keep having to mute IN THE MIDDLE OF TALKING to tell him where the keys /his pj's /eggs/his phone charger/cereal/tylenol/the cat/the tv remote is or else he starts losing his mind

Why ur husband sounds so incapable LOL is he 5?

I'm going insane. My wife is a receptionist for a wealth mgmt firm. All their clients are losing their shirts and calling their advisors constantly. I'm hearing her answer the phone every couple of minutes with the same "good afternoon (company name)". I cannot get it out of my head. It's like I'm living in the Office Space movie.

My husband takes calls and paces around the house all day - also making it hard for him to help with our baby. I have now locked him in the guest bedroom when he is on calls and asked he tells me if it’s a client, work but just someone from his team, or personal so I know what I’m interrupting if I really need help with the baby to get some work done.

I’m a husband locked in the guest bedroom as well! Honestly this has kept us sane though.

Hi lovely people here,

I have returned to Bangalore after 2 years and most of my friends either moved to different cities (due to job change or hometown) or they got engaged/married.
I want to meet new people and make friends could possibly date as well if vibes match. But since it's still remote working, social interactions have become quite limited.

So anyone in same situation as me or just interested to interact with new people please comment or dm.

Truth be told I have never been through onboarding via remote. It’s a bit of a struggle. It’s taking forever to get access to certain resources and my assigned mentor is always underwater. How is everyone dealing with this? My manager seems hard to please in our first couple 1:1s.

In need of a career mentor but not sure how to find one. It’s been difficult finding someone I can trust at firm during WFH. I don’t feel comfortable asking engagement managers because that’s too close. My PML/coach is too busy and I feel may share what I say. I’d ask managers at my last company but I fear they may be biased because they still ask me to come back. Anyone have suggestions? Willing to pay for mentor/coach.

What’s the consensus on tattoos in the insurance workplace? I’m in leadership and considering exploring my options due to recent personnel changes. I work remote and have arm sleeves, and any time I would be in-person I’d of course wear a long sleeve shirt to be professional, but worry about a cuff rolling up and tattoos being somewhat visible. Nothing is offensive by any means.
