I've been following the Supreme Court mess all weekend, and it makes me not want to live in the US anymore. Has anyone here had a difficult recovery post-egg retrieval? It’s been 3 days and I’m still in a lot of pain. The medical team said I should expect to be uncomfortable for 5-7 days or more due to the high number of eggs retrieved (=very swollen ovaries) and it will take 2 weeks to get back to normal.

I am on my second IUI attempt - I have PCOS and this time the ultrasound found no mature follicles after five days on letrozole. My RE is “stair stepping” the letrozole - moving to 5 mg immediately - in order to force ovulation. Has anyone experienced this? Taking letrozole mid-cycle?

Had my first miscarriage in 2019, got pregnant naturally that time. Tried for another 1.5 year after, and then went to RE. On my first round of Letrozole + trigger shot, we got pregnant. Saw twins at 5 weeks. 6 week ultrasound showed vanishing twin syndrome and we could only hear a heartbeat on number 2. 7 week ultrasound showed another strong heartbeat and we were getting hopeful. 8th week - no more heartbeat. Got a D&C and now feeling emotionally drained. Does it get any better? Feel hopeless

Peace a love! My husband has fertility issues. Doctor is now prescribing him clomid and eCG. No obstruction - but a zero sperm count and low testosterone levels .The eCG prescription runs about $800. Has anyone tried this method of hormone therapy with successful results? Any substitute suggestions for the eCG? Blessings and TIA!
