Is anyone familiar with DoGood? I keep getting invites to join and I’m wondering if it’s a scam?

It looks fairly legit online. Looks like they've worked (or are at least claiming to have worked) with some pretty big partners over the years. Maybe see if you can find someone who's recently joined or left?

Thanks HRD1

What exactly is it? I have never heard of it.

Interview went well, Total 7 ppl interviewed me. I accepted offer verbally. Then I got promoted and I shared that to recruiter and my current compensation and offer are same. I shared my difficulty to recruiter as it will be a lateral move. He said he will get back to me in 1 day. Its been a week I haven't heard back.
1.
What should I do. (I am excited for this new role also extremely happy with my current employer)
2.
Is it normal for recruiter to not keep their words about communication?

I'm really in to a good friend's wife - she's pretty perfect both personality-wise and physically. I've known her a long time and the 4 of us, sometimes with other couples too, hang out often. Would never act on it and love my wife, but always esp. look forward to spending time with her. Damn is he a lucky guy. Anyon else ever feel this way in a similar situation?

I’m almost done with my MBA but I’ll have to take out a loan to pay the last bit of it. I’ve paid about $30k out of pocket and I’ll have $18k that I’ll have to take a loan out for. I have a brokerage account that has $10k in it. Would it make sense to pull that money out to pay for the majority of what I have left or to just get a loan? I’m meeting with my FA in the summer but am just curious for other opinions. Keep in mind I make $53k and I have a 401k, Roth IRA, and traditional IRA as well.

There are 2 types of people:

Hello everyone! I am looking for some advice. I was recently contacted for a Recruitment Operations Manager role for a startup company and their budget for this role is $90-130k based in SF. I have a little over a year of experience as a technical recruiter based in Southern CA who has experience recruiting and managing the process for another startup company. I’m open to moving towards more of a PM/operations role so this would be a great fit. What is your salary & YOE? What should I ask for?

I had my PHR back in early 2000, then made a career change to a paramedic (I know, right). I called SHRM and they said I'm eligible to test again even though I only currently have 1.5 yrs of HR.

I purchased the online study guide and it seems that HR has gone in a completely different direction - more operations related than employee relations etc.

Did anyone find this online training to be helpful? I test in July, so any tips would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks - lauren

*URGENT JOB NEEDED* - BDM/E-com account management roles
Hey all, as I see a lot of recruiters in this group I wanted to know if anyone is hiring for BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER or E-COM ACCOUNT MANAGEMENT or VENDOR MANAGEMENT roles.
My husband is relentlessly trying to get a job in Canada/US but he is getting either regret mails or no response for referrals.
It would be really helpful if there is anyone is hiring for such roles or if you can refer to those roles in your organization. TIA :)

Hi Everyone, I have been an HR Generalist for close to 7 years. I had good managers and poor managers in between. My VP once told me not to pursue my MBA because she would teach me everything she knew. She never did. I am currently going for my SHRM SCP. Interested to see some perspectives - currently working at a Payroll & Benefits Specialist at a fast growing company and recently passed my PHR! I just started this role only a few months ago but am already feeling like I can take on more, but not as much as a HR manager. I’m struggling to understand where exactly it is I can go from here. I’m 25, have 3 years of experience, and get paid $59k/year.

Where does one go from here? Thanks in advance for any and all answers!
