Guys, having 5 years of experience and I have 2 offers from Wipro and infoays . I have heard that Infosys is better than wipro in terms of work life balance and work culture. I wants to join Infosys but the thing is wipro is paying more than Infosys. Please help me to decide. I am confused 🤔
I get interrupted a lot at work now that we are virtual. I don't feel like this happens to everyone else in my team as much, meaning folks tend to let them talk longer. So I've reduced my contribution and talk less. But then others make the same point I'm thinking and would normally have said. So now I just look like a silent non-contributor or someone who gets interrupted a lot. Office/team culture is generally good, respectful and peaceful. How do I change this? What can I do differently?
During the VMAs last night there was a car commercial and all I have to say is that if your brand is picking a 5 year old Sia song that didn’t even chart too well as a song for a NEW commercial, you need to tap into culture a little bit. I’m begging for a world where we stop using songs like this and Roar by Katy Perry as the standard backing tracks for boring ads.
Do consultants at other companies work with a lot of subks or is this more common at IBM? My whole team is subks, I feel like I’m not getting a feel for the culture since I don’t work with any IBMers.
I think I’ve come to terms with the fact that I want to switch to a smaller boutique consulting firm. Any advice on how to start the search to find a local firm with a good culture?
I have worked for my company in the UK as A Tech Lead (£58k) for the past year and I have seen all of my friends get screwed over, either by being the fall guy for something or the CEO + CTO causing people to get so depressed they leave. I'm at the end of my tether, but I love my team and don't want them to get screwed over by me leaving. We have built up a good atmosphere and culture in the team. In the last 18 months company have had a turn over of 50+% but not my team. What are your thoughts.
How is the culture in Dallas international tax?
Desi folks - please don’t judge here as I am going through a lot in personal life. Going though a divorce and it is painful. Tried to post this in singles bowl but I am not comfortable with talking with anyone outside our desi culture. Need someone to talk and share. I am looking for companionship for now. Male 45 DMV . Any ladies that are in similar situation or need companionship, please DM. Just trying to see what next phase of life begins. 🙏

How is Accenture’s commercial Oracle Cloud practice? Just received an offer to join ACN. Thoughts on pipeline, culture, WLB, pay, etc. Anything is welcomed.
Is it just me, or can analyst culture be really toxic? No problems with C’s, M’s, or MD’s—they’re usually nice and happy to help me out. It’s the analysts that are cutthroat, rigid, and unhelpful
Culture in my practice group is partners feel free hand to call up former employees about the files they were handling. Is this normal? Are the former associates obligated to entertain this
Anyone at Prophet? Would love to ask you a few questions about culture, work life balance, etc.
Why are they so obsessed with talking about cancel culture? Every single speaker has brought it up
Hello fishes! Any ideas of work culture in advisory as part of MC- financial management team in KPMG global services. Thanks.
Busy season doesn't really feel like it used to be anymore. I think before, it was generally understood it would take half of the time of the year, but now it feels like it covers 70 to 90% of the year. I would love to hear if this is the feeling from people who work at big 4, mid tier/regional and small boutique cpa firms?
First time in an accounting firm… Is it normal to want to quit after starting a couple months ago? 😂 About to start doing the bare minimum and hope I don’t get fired.
Any suggestions for good pre-MBA programs/coursework to do? I know I have at least 3/4 years before applying but my employer offers tuition reimbursement and wanted to get a head start looking at options! I went to a public Ivy (top 30ish) but my college GPA was a 3.2 in liberal arts (worked part-time most of college & some outside health issues didn’t help with that), so I’d like to prove I’m capable to admissions outside of a high GMAT.
3 YoE in health consulting (generalist w/agile and change management experience), and finally received a secret clearance. But now concerned I'm pigeonholing myself over the next 3 years as I think a lot of health work at my firm that requires clearances are more "butts in seats" My goal is to learn as much as I can over next 3 years (WLB is not a concern). With that said, despite the job security of a clearance, would it be better to consider looking at commercial consulting roles?
Thoughts on the house reconciliation bill? Especially the immigration texts.. do you guys think it would pass?
Interviewing tip needed: I feel like a diversity hire at most of the companies I have worked for. A sentiment that is felt by other diverse colleagues at my job. When looking for a new job, what questions can I ask to find this out before I join? How can I assess whether a company truly values my skillset, pay equally, & promote equally? Whether there are implicit biases at play? My current job has 2 diverse bosses at senior level so I took that as a good sign but I was wrong.
Salary for senior business analyst at McKinsey in the US? Curious since you guys don’t go from BA to Associate
Any thoughts on getting a degree from Harvard Extension School? I’m thinking of getting a grad degree in Management Info Systems instead of getting an MBA
Any moms or to-be-moms decide to leave consulting for continued rigorous education like medical school? I’m not a mom yet but want to do this and wonder if I’m setting myself up for failure.

Has anyone recruited before with the Google People Operations team or have any insight into the culture and benefits of the group? HCA consultant and beginning to look some for industry opportunities. Thanks!
Have a call with a recruiter today where I’m 95% sure I will receive an offer. If the TC is less than what I’d like, should I be hesitant & counter on the call itself or ask to take some time to fully look into the comp and then counter over email? Not sure what common practice is.
Best way to gauge your manager prior to accepting a position? Hearing bad things internally (one source). Want to get more info..
Thoughts on traveling during the Corona Virus? A little nervous, am considering driving the 5 hours each week & expensing miles instead of flying
Current M&A tax associate, just got off the phone with a recruiter for a senior M&A position at a private company. Involves a massive raise but with the caveat I won’t be under a CPA to get the experience to be licensed. Should this be a deal breaker? I don’t think I want to stay in accounting/tax long term but it feels somewhat wrong to have spent all that time on the exams just to not get licensed. Thoughts?
My Senior keeps giving me (A1 newhire) vague and conflicting information for what they want me to work on. I just got moved to this client a week and a half ago to help out with filing, and am expected to go off a simple look at X section and figure it out. Just stresses me out a ton and feel like I cant assist with anything legit. Ill ask for clarifications but it just seems like im going in circles. Were supposed to be filing next Friday and its not looking up.
Where do y’all see the future of M7 going? In the next 20-30 years. Will there still be an M7 or will MBAs be obsolete as more and more elite companies do direct promotion? Will HSW still exist or will the value prop of a brand name be diminished a ton with the continuous rise of tech/AI, etc?
