Met a guy(a coworkers best friend) Friday, we spent the night together and it was great, we laughed, we got to know each other, he was such a gentleman about everything, offered to pay my Uber, asked me to text him when I got home. I heard very little from him after that, and the last text (on Sunday) I sent he left me on read as of yesterday. So my question is, is it weird for me to ask him if he’d be interested in dinner next week? Should I take the left on read as a sign/red flag, etc?
Yes, I feel like we are more best friends but I am not into the sex
Yes sometimes.. I’m not super confident about my SO’s career stability (contract work in tech) and they are just starting to rebuild their savings after a long unemployment period after COVID. Whereas I have had stable job always and have grown up in my career. Trying for a promo early this year too! Feel like we are not exactly on the same page. Don’t know how to talk about potential ways to fix it. Everything else is great like physical and emotional compatibility, his family is also very loving and accepting (we are from diff races)
You are right Sc1. I come from a culture that equates ambition to career progression so its been a bit hard for me to unlearn that and realize that ambition can show up in different forms. He is very passionate when it comes to his hobbies and life in general. So I think I just have to try and learn the real meaning of ambitious
Yeah I’m falling for her “married with kids” older sister
I’m already married to my wife and i love her. Only got to know her sister recently. Never really met while dating due to distance and kids requirements.
They look the same but have different personalities. Sister is confident boss type. My wife is the most sweetest cheerful and most supportive person you’ll ever meet. Find both attractive for different reasons. Obviously only show it to one person , my wife.
I’m not going to do anything about these feelings, just going to distance it and work on getting these thoughts out of my dreams and whatnot.
