I’ve been with my current company for 3 years. In this time I have only received one raise and triple the responsibilities. I am currently the fleet/safety manager for a fleet of 8 trucks. Also, I am required to do all secretary work, manage the office, dispatch, keep the books, and manage payroll for 12 employees for 34,000 annually. With the workload I currently have I’m not sure what to approach my boss with as a fair salary for the task i complete daily.

Thank you all for the feedback! We put in an offer for a house in Windward, if the inspection goes well, we’ll be moving soon!
It’s in Alpharetta which is a great suburb. Good schools, close to good restaurants and also there are some businesses with big offices right there like Ryder and ADP. Probably an hour from the airport if that is a concern. I used to live in Alpharetta and liked it. If you want to be a little closer into the city then look at east cobb county. Taxes are a little less and it’s a closer commute to airport.
I grew up there. Very idyllic place to live as a kid. Fulton county schools. If you are interested in less $$ and more space, and don’t mind being 90 minutes at the airport at peak traffic times I enjoyed living there. Forsyth county (crossing McGinnis) is 1-2% cheaper. There’s more up there now, but certainly less than in-town options.
I know there was a development going up near 400 & McFarland/across from the back of Shiloh Farms. Seems nice & on the up! They should also be finalizing the additional build-out of MARTA bus depot lot at North Point Pkwy & Windward Parkway. Also you’re near Jekyll Brewing, big plus!
I have lived in Atlanta for ~15 years and never heard of it. Looked it up and it is way outside the city. Do you live in Atlanta area now already or is this a completely new move?
Your* D2 🙄 — UGA graduate making more than my Harvard sibling and I graduated entirely debt free. Many of my professors/TA also went to Ivy. Same is the case at Tech. I went to a public school in the area and had several peers go to other privates. Why would you overpay when preeminent colleges in the state are *free* ?
