There’s nothing like waking up to a call on August 1 from my district coordinator telling me that they want to move me from my middle school resource room SpEd position (which I love) to K-5 Setting 3 SpEd position. I told her all the reasons that won’t work for me and even gave her another idea that would require a non-licensed teacher to be moved so I could take her place at the hs. How on earth do I get my cat to stop licking blankets?! She is about 15 months and if I leave a blanket out she will totally lick it up! It ruins the blanket by making it all crust, but more importantly I am concerned with her ingesting lose fibers while she is licking. It drives me insane!

New SALT person here-- could someone help me out with recognizing if/when an underlying investment utilized the 163(j)? We received an underlying Federal K-1 that shows Line 13k but I can't figure out if it was utilized or not. Is that line even included taxable income to begin with? TIA!
